VRS is a recruitment company hiring on behalf of a client for a Software Engineer role. This position requires strong English communication skills, both written and spoken, as you’ll work in an English-first environment with international stakeholders.

What you’ll do:

This is a full-time, on-site role. You will build and maintain Java-based web applications, develop backend components, and ensure performance and reliability. You will work closely with QA and product teams, translate client requirements into technical solutions, and deliver clean, scalable code. You will also write clear technical documentation and support releases.

What we’re looking for:

• Degree in Computer Science, MIS, or a related field

• 3+ years of experience as a software developer

• Strong knowledge of Java

• Experience with Angular

• Experience with MVC and MVVM patterns (Spring and Hibernate)

• Basic knowledge of PostgreSQL (Oracle is a plus)

• Strong problem-solving and analytical thinking

• Strong English proficiency (written and spoken) is required

• Ability to communicate clearly with clients and internal teams inEnglish
