Responsibilities
- Lead the architectural implementation of hospitality projects from approved design concepts through construction documentation, site execution, and project handover.
- Coordinate with consultants, contractors, subcontractors, and client representatives to ensure design intent, materials, finishes, and technical specifications are accurately translated into built work.
- Review architectural drawings, shop drawings, material submittments, method statements, RFIs, and technical deliverables to support timely approvals and site progress.
- Supervise on-site architectural works, including fit-out, finishes, detailing, mock-ups, inspections, and quality control to ensure compliance with project requirements and hospitality standards.
- Resolve technical and design-related issues during construction by providing practical solutions that align with approved plans, specifications, codes, and project timelines.
- Support contractors in closing project deliverables, including as-built drawings, snagging, inspection reports, material documentation, and handover requirements.
- Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams across structural, MEP, interior design, procurement, and project management functions to maintain coordination and execution quality.
Desired Candidate Profile
- Bachelor s degree in Architecture, Architectural Engineering, or a related discipline.
- 7 to 10 years of architectural engineering experience, preferably across hospitality projects, consultancy environments, and construction or site-based roles.
- Strong knowledge of architectural detailing, construction documentation, finishing materials, fit-out works, and hospitality project execution standards.
- Proven experience reviewing consultant drawings, shop drawings, material submittals, RFIs, and contractor deliverables.
- Ability to bridge the gap between design intent and site implementation, with strong problem-solving skills in fast-paced construction environments.
- Proficiency in relevant design and documentation tools such as AutoCAD, Revit, BIM platforms, and Microsoft Office; familiarity with project management or document control systems is an advantage.
- Strong communication, coordination, and stakeholder management skills, with the ability to work effectively with consultants, contractors, site teams, and client representatives.
