Technical Support Engineer (VoIP/PBX) – 0 to 2 Years Experience
Job Summary
We are looking for a Technical Support Engineer to provide support for VoIP and PBX systems. The successful candidate will assist customers with troubleshooting, system configuration, and issue resolution while gaining hands-on experience with IP telephony technologies.
Key Responsibilities
- Provide technical support for VoIP, IP telephony, and PBX systems.
- Troubleshoot issues related to phones, call routing, voicemail, SIP trunks, and network connectivity.
- Monitor system performance and respond to customer support requests.
- Configure and maintain user extensions, devices, and basic system settings.
- Escalate complex issues to senior engineers when required.
- Document incidents, resolutions, and technical procedures.
- Assist with system installations, upgrades, and testing.
- Deliver professional and timely customer service.
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree or Diploma in Information Technology, Computer Engineering, Telecommunications, or a related field.
- 0–2 years of experience in technical support, networking, or telecommunications.
- Better to have driving license
- Basic understanding of TCP/IP networking concepts.
- Familiarity with VoIP, SIP, IP phones, or PBX systems is an advantage.
- Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills.
- Good communication skills in English.
- Willingness to learn new technologies and work in a customer-facing environment.
Preferred Skills
- Knowledge of Windows and Linux operating systems.
- Basic understanding of networking devices such as switches and routers.
- Familiarity with ticketing systems and remote support tools.
Experience Level
- Fresh graduates are encouraged to apply.
