The designee shall be qualified to install, operate, maintain, troubleshoot and repair heating, ventilation, air conditioning and refrigeration (HVAC/R) systems. Performs scheduled periodic maintenance and seasonal overhaul on systems and components to ensure maximum efficiency. Performs planning activities and facility surveys. Manages HVAC/R fuel emissions and refrigerant handling programs and activities to support various ACCOM systems identified in Table 6.1. Suites of Systems and Support Equipment.

Education

High School diploma or GED. Must have applicable CFC/EPA certification such as Section 608 Certification (Universal). Formal HVAC/R training such as military technical training school, vocational college, and/or a four (4) year apprentice program with experience in HVAC/R maintenance and repair.

Experience

Four (4) years of practical experience with equipment the technician will maintain.

Must have or be able to obtain and maintain a US Government Secret Security Clearance. Note: US citizenship is required to obtain a Secret Clearance.

Ability to obtain and maintain a US CENTCOM Medical Exam.

Compensation Details

$100,000.00
