Female Physical Therapy and Rehabilitation Doctor needed to work in the Sultanate of Oman

 

An established medical complex in the Sultanate of Oman announces an opportunity to join the team as a Physical Therapy & Rehabilitation Specialist, within a work environment focused on developing physical therapy and rehabilitation services and expanding the scope of the specialty within the complex.


 

Required Qualifications:

- Female doctor holding a Master’s or PhD in Physical Therapy.

- Strong practical experience in the field of Physical Therapy & Rehabilitation.

- Experience in patient assessment and developing appropriate treatment plans.

- Ability to handle various physical therapy and rehabilitation cases.

- Proficiency in using physical therapy devices and techniques.


 

Required Experience and Specializations:

- X-ray & Radiographic Image Interpretation

- Therapeutic Ultrasound

- Electrotherapy & Electrical Stimulation

- Hydrotherapy

- Sports Injuries Rehabilitation

- Pre- and Postnatal Physical Therapy

- Stroke Rehabilitation

- Neurological Rehabilitation

- Pediatric Physical Therapy

- Musculoskeletal Rehabilitation

- Patient Assessment & Treatment Planning


 

Salary and Incentive System

- Fixed base salary: 300 Omani Rials per month.

- Accommodation is provided by the medical complex.

- In addition to the base salary, there is an independent incentive system linked to the number of sessions, performance, and diligence at work.

Incentives are calculated based on a target system as follows:

- 125 sessions per month → 10% incentive

- 250 sessions or more → 15% incentive

The average price of a session is currently about 12 Omani Rials.

The complex currently receives more than 100 sessions per month, and even at the current minimum level of activity, there is an established patient base, while the increase in the doctor's income from incentives depends on her diligence, performance development, and the number of sessions achieved.

Incentives are added to the base salary and are not a substitute for it.

Licensing Requirements

It is required to meet the necessary licensing requirements to practice the profession in the Sultanate of Oman, including:

- Prometric

- DataFlow

- Requirements and license to practice the profession according to the competent authorities in the Sultanate of Oman.
