Job Details

Responsible for developing and executing pricing, reimbursement and market access strategies for the Specialty portfolio across MENA, with a primary focus on maximizing access, competitiveness and sustainable commercial value.


Duties and Responsibilities (But not limited to):


• Pricing Strategy: Own regional pricing strategy, including list prices, tender prices, reimbursement prices, and price corridors.


• Lead pricing and bidding strategy for tenders and major institutional accounts.


• Reimbursement: Develop reimbursement strategies and lead payer negotiations with government payers and private insurers, where applicable.


• HEOR: Lead health economics activities, including budget impact analyses, cost-effectiveness studies, and value dossiers.


• Payer Engagement: Build and manage relationships with key government, public, and private payers and healthcare decision-makers.


• Strategic Accounts: Drive market access to major and strategic accounts, including public and private hospital groups and key institutions.


• Market Access Strategy: Develop regional market access strategies and identify barriers and opportunities across MENA.


• Local Market Coordination: Work closely with local market access teams to ensure execution complies with country-specific laws, regulations, and access requirements.


• Market Intelligence: Monitor pricing, reimbursement, tender outcomes, competitor activity, and healthcare policy developments.


• Cross-functional Leadership: Partner with Commercial, Medical, Regulatory, Finance, Supply Chain, and Business Development to integrate market access into launch and portfolio strategies.


• Compliance & Governance: Ensure all market access, pricing, reimbursement, and tender-related activities comply with company policies, applicable regulations, and ethical standards.


• Product Launch Access Planning: Lead market access planning for new product launches to achieve timely pricing, reimbursement, and patient access.


• Evidence Generation: Collaborate with Medical Affairs to develop health economic and value evidence supporting access strategies.



Desired Candidate Profile


• Bachelor's degree in Pharmacy, Medicine, Life Sciences, Health Economics or related field..


• Minimum 10 years of pharmaceutical industry experience, with significant experience in Market Access, Pricing, Reimbursement and/or HEOR. 


• Experience with specialty pharmaceuticals, biologics and/or biosimilars.


• Experience with government payers, tenders, reimbursement, and institutional accounts.


• MENA regional experience.


• Fluent in Arabic and English, with French proficiency considered an added advantage.
