Head of Business Development Our client is a holding group in Kuwait with several business divisions. They are currently seeking to hire an experienced Head of Business Development for their Food Distribution, Service & Retail Business who will be based in their corporate office in Kuwait. Responsibilities: Brand Building
- Understands brand equity, functional and emotional benefits, brand characters and what it takes to build and differentiate a brand from others.
- Has ability to unravel insights and pin-point customers pain-points.
- A great storyteller. A content \xe2\x80\x98queen\xe2\x80\x99 or \xe2\x80\x98king\xe2\x80\x99, able to create vital, engaging shopping and product experiences; tell consumers/ shoppers solutions to their pain-points in an exciting, appealing manner
- Can create engaging content for a variety of mediums, including point-of-sale material, paid digital, social media and more.
- Up-to-date with latest marketing trends including paid digital, social media and ecommerce trends. This knowledge drives experimentation and innovation across multimedia strategies. Trade Marketing / Trade Activation
- Plan and execute with different principles, yearly, quarterly and Monthly instore activation plans.
- Strong analytical skills, which allows driving activation with the right ROI New Business Acquisition
- Proven track record of successfully identifying and developing new business opportunities.
- Ability to identify, engage with, and develop new business opportunities with potential principles in the food retail industry.
- Conduct market research and analyze consumer trends in the food retail market.
- Monitor competitor activities and industry trends in the food retail industry.
- Capacity to ideate, develop, and deliver sharp, crisp reports on integrated marketing campaigns and market analysis in the food sector.
- Utilizes strong communication skills, attention to detail and organisation to lead projects across multiple functions and teams.
- Collaborate across these same multi-functional teams to develop and launch new food products.
- Demonstrates people and project management experience.
- Excellent communication, negotiation, and presentation skills. Requirements:
- Bachelor\'s degree in Business Administration, Finance, Marketing or other related field.
- 12+ years of relevant experience in Consumer Packaged Goods.
- Proficiency in English and Arabic
