COMPANY BACKGROUND & PURPOSE OF POSITION:
A company specialized in selling Innovative Constructions Materials (Wall protection, Expansion joints, Flooring Solution, fit-out etc.) through contractors, consultants, interior designers and specialized applicators – is seeking to appoint a Technical Engineer for the following Roles & Responsibilities
REQUIREMENTS AND JOB RESPONSIBILITIES:
• Dealing with Client enquiries and feedback also liaising with clients to understand their needs and report on progress.
• Project Billing and verify all the variations.
• Project Quantities, Variation BOQ, D.P.R., M.P.R., Preparation.
• Analyse drawings, specifications and provide clear detailed quantity take offs.
• To check the drawings and documents used at site for approvals and compliance with project requirements.
• Project Management, Project Planning and tracking including QA/QC clearance, QS-Estimation for Additional Works.
• Managing technical project documentation
• Facilitating and attending project kick off meetings, project briefings and debriefings, ensuring that the focus on outputs and deliverables are highlighted to the Project Managers.
• Ensure all projects specifications are fully coordinated.
• Assist with the compilation of the O&M Manuals.
• To prepare method statements and ITPs.
• Excellent knowledge of design and visualizations software such as AutoCAD, Primavera and advance MS Office skills.
• Diploma/ Bachelor’s degree preferably Civil Engineering/ Interior or Architecture.
• 3-5 years prior UAE work experience in the field of experience on Expansion and Movement Joints, Wall Protection, Entrance Matts, Stair Nosing and Carpentry & Fit out.
• With UAE driving license. (preferable)
• SALARY PACKAGE: AED 3,500-5,000 in addition to Health insurance, tickets, etc. subject to candidate experience and qualifications.
