Position Summary:

Our distinguished client is a top mechanical construction company with headquarters in Qatar that specializes in providing solutions to the oil and gas, petrochemical, and utilities industries. Our client is looking for an experienced procurement manager to lead their procurement team and the sourcing, purchasing, and procurement processes. The successful candidate shall have at least 10 years of experience in strategic sourcing, procurement, and supplier management.


Key Responsibilities:

·      Develop and implement procurement strategies aligned with company goals and objectives.

·      Identify and evaluate potential suppliers, negotiate contracts, and establish long-term relationships to ensure the best value for the company.

·      Manage the end-to-end procurement process, including requisition, purchase order creation, and supplier selection.

·      Ensure timely and cost-effective procurement of goods and services, meeting quality and delivery requirements.

·      Monitor and manage supplier performance, including quality, delivery, and compliance with contractual terms.

·      Analyze procurement data and report on spending trends, cost-saving opportunities, and procurement performance metrics.

·      Implement cost reduction strategies and negotiate favorable terms with suppliers to achieve savings.

·      Draft, review, and negotiate contracts with suppliers and vendors.

·      Ensure all contracts are legally sound, compliant with company policies, and meet business requirements.

·      Manage contract renewals, amendments, and terminations as needed.

·      Set performance objectives, provide training and development opportunities, and conduct performance evaluations.

·      Foster a collaborative and high-performance team culture.

·      Identify potential risks in the supply chain and develop mitigation strategies.

·      Implement best practices and innovative solutions to enhance procurement efficiency and effectiveness.



Key Qualifications & Skills:

·      Bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain Management, Business Administration, Finance, or related field.

·      Minimum of 10-15 years of experience in procurement or supply chain management.

·      Demonstrated experience in strategic sourcing, contract negotiation, and supplier management.
