We are seeking a professional, organized, and trustworthy Front Desk Receptionist to join our hotel team. The role requires strong communication skills, the ability to work under pressure, and strict adherence to hotel pricing and operational policies.
Welcome guests and create a positive first impression during check-in and check-out.
Process payments accurately and issue receipts.
Apply room rates and discounts only according to management approval.
Coordinate closely with housekeeping, restaurant, and other departments.
Handle guest complaints professionally and find appropriate solutions.
Manage busy periods involving arrivals, departures, and inquiries.
Maintain accurate records and reports.
Provide guests with information about local attractions and services.
Skills
Candidates will be evaluated based on the following:
Ability to use Microsoft Office and send professional emails.
Good command of English and ability to handle language barriers with guests if they speak other languages.
Ability to handle multiple tasks under pressure (calls, check-ins, questions).
Experience dealing with guest complaints and problem-solving.
Ability to handle overbooking situations calmly and explain solutions to guests.
Familiarity with hotel reservation systems (Hoteligia or similar systems preferred).
Strong time management and task prioritization during peak hours.
Ability to communicate effectively with other departments (housekeeping, restaurant).
Initiative and willingness to improve work processes.
Knowledge of local tourist attractions and events.
Ability to stay calm and professional with difficult or uncooperative guests.
