Position: Writer/Editor – AI Trainer Type: Contract (Full-time or Part-time) Compensation: $50 – $150/hour Location: Remote Commitment: 10-40 hours/week
Role Responsibilities Transcribe a variety of audio and video files with high accuracy and attention to detail. Edit and refine transcriptions to ensure clarity, consistency, and linguistic quality. Analyze language data and provide feedback to improve AI language model performance. Collaborate with team members to maintain high standards in transcription and annotation workflows. Identify and resolve ambiguities in complex language scenarios within datasets. Maintain clear documentation of processes, methodologies, and project progress. Support ongoing training and quality assurance initiatives for AI language systems.
Requirements Advanced degree (Master’s or PhD) in Linguistics, English, Communications, or a related field. Native-level proficiency in English with excellent written and verbal communication skills. Demonstrated experience as a writer and/or editor with strong analytical and linguistic abilities. Exceptional attention to detail and commitment to producing high-quality work. Ability to transcribe complex audio and video content accurately and efficiently. Strong analytical thinking and problem-solving skills related to language and communication. Proactive communication skills and ability to collaborate effectively in a remote environment.
