Responsibilities

• Implementation, administration, and support of Physical & Virtual Servers installed at multiple Abudhabi locations.
• Implementation, administration, deployment of Windows, Linux Servers, websites, portals and Server security.
• Hands-on experience in Active Directory, Microsoft Exchange, TMG & UAG, Windows Platform, Projects leaderships.
• Broad range of technical skills and extensive knowledge on Microsoft back office products but not limited to Active Directory (2000-2012), Microsoft Exchange (2000-2013), ISA server & TMG, UAG and other Windows Roles and features, MS DPM backup and restore, Voice Technology on Lyne 2010-2013, Networks Technology specially Cisco Technology Routers, Switches, Firewalls, Unified Communication Manager, Virtual Environment, Hyper -V and VMware, VDI technology.
• Write the technical scope for statements of work and requests for proposals (RFPs).
• Develop technical collateral (architecture diagrams, integration strategies, etc.,) to support sales activities.
• Other duties as required or assigned by management.
• Provide weekly status reports to IT operations or Unit Head

Skills

Qualifications:

• Bachelor in computer science/ engineering, or equivalent required
• Relevant industry systems certifications
• Should have Microsoft Certified Systems Administrator & Redhat Linux Administration certification.
• 8+ years of experience in Systems Support & Administration position
• Hands-on & In-depth working knowledge of Windows & Linux operating system.
• Thorough knowledge & Hands on Experience of Back Office Support Systems such as: Microsoft Exchange, SQL, SharePoint, ITS, Office.
• Thorough knowledge of Web System and Deployment, fine tuning of solution -IIS 7, Apache, Weblogic, etc.
• Communication, customer relation skills, and the ability to work with a team.
• Thorough understanding of ITIL and Knowledge of IT Service Desk procedures.
• Self-motivated and able to work with minimum supervision
• A strong work ethic and a 'can-do' attitude with a positive attitude towards teamwork and collaboration.
• Must be a self-starter, quick learner, attentive to details with ability to multi­task and have excellent initiative.
