Noorart, an international company specialized in publishing and distributing educational materials, is currently seeking to hire candidates for position of Purchasing / Logistics Senior to join their team. The ideal candidate will have a minimum of 5 years of experience in purchasing and logistics roles, preferably in the private sector. This position requires a strong attention to detail, excellent communication skills, and the ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
Responsibilities:
- Develop and implement purchasing strategies and policies to optimize procurement processes.
- Manage the entire purchasing process, including sourcing suppliers, negotiating contracts, and evaluating supplier performance.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure timely and accurate delivery of materials and supplies.
- Monitor inventory levels and coordinate with suppliers to ensure adequate stock levels.
- Analyze market trends and pricing to identify cost-saving opportunities.
- Ensure compliance with company policies and procedures, as well as local and international regulations.
- Manage relationships with key suppliers and negotiate favorable terms and pricing.
- Oversee logistics operations, including transportation, warehousing, and distribution.
- Optimize the logistics network to reduce costs and improve efficiency.
- Work closely with the finance department to manage budgets and control costs.
Preferred Candidate:
- Minimum of 5 years of experience in purchasing and logistics roles, preferably in the private sector.
- Bachelor's degree in Industrial Engineering or any related field.
- Strong knowledge of procurement processes, logistics operations, and supply chain management.
- Excellent negotiation and communication skills.
- Ability to analyze data and make informed decisions.
- Experience with ERP systems and other relevant software.
- Ability to work under pressure and meet tight deadlines.
