Job Purpose:
The International Academic Representative is an Educator first and foremost and will be implementing and teaching students in Amman and around the world. The ideal candidate is an adventurous person who is looking for a fulfilling career with travel opportunities.
The IAR will plan, lead, and facilitate diverse learning experiences for students both local and abroad. While the IAR will mostly be based out of Amman, but will have the opportunity to travel to our branches around the world (Ontario-Canada, Doha-Qatar, Riyadh-KSA, and Abu Dhabi-UAE)
The IARs needed are those in the fields of the following:
- Computer Science (JAVA is a non-negotiable MUST)
- English
- Math
- Physics
Roles and Responsibilities:
- Planning and preparing lessons following the guidelines of the subject and board
- Monitoring student performance through feedback routinely provided to the Administrative Team
- Adjusting lesson plans to the needs of the students
- Collaborating with teachers and departments to ensure student success
- Teaching classes related to main subject per the teaching load specified by Eight Hundred SAT Center
- Constantly develop skills and work in collaboration with Subject Heads to ensure educating is to Eight Hundred SAT Center Standards
- Attending training and meetings conducted by Eight Hundred SAT Center
- Participate in Eight Hundred SAT Center student events
- Receiving performance feedback from Subject heads to ensure top performance of all IARs
- Prepare supplementary materials for students if needed
Job Requirements:
- Master’s degree in related fields
- A valid passport
- JAVA is a non-negotiable requirement for Computer Science IARs
- Good communication skills
- Excellent spoken English and Arabic
- A familiarity with MS Office and Google tools
- Time Management skills
- Team player
