Medical Tourism Officer
Tebcan is a leading company working in digital health with the vision to improve the overall healthcare quality by making healthcare more patient-centric, accessible, and reliable. Tebcan will enable the development of a learning health system for continuous improvement of quality healthcare where clinical decisions will be supported by accurate, timely and up to date patient clinical information. Tebcan enables patients to reach quality healthcare locally and internationally, share their medical history with their healthcare professionals, rate and review their healthcare service experience and accumulate a medical history. Similarly, it enables healthcare professionals to make more informed diagnosis based on availability of patient healthcare information, prescribe medication and diagnostic tests accurately and receive their results in a timely manner. In addition, it provides national healthcare decision makers with patient clinical data that can be used for healthcare planning.
Medical Tourism Officer Job Responsibilities
- Maintain good relations with Doctors and medical service providers
- Answers inquiries from the Internet communication tools, Social Media, and telephone regarding Tebcan online medical bookings, online consultation, medical service providers network, procedures and pricing
- Arranges medical records transfer and communicates required pre-arrival diagnostic testing with the patient’s local physician, laboratory and imaging services.
- Schedules new and returning appointments for international patients.
- Serves as destination coordinator while patient in Jordan.
- Orients and educates patients and their families by; explaining the role of the coordinator; initiating the treatment plan; providing educational information in conjunction with direct care providers related to treatments, procedures, medications, and continuing care requirements.
- Develops online multidisciplinary care plan and other case management tools by coordinating information and care requirements with other medical service providers through online referrals.
- Monitors patient clinical satisfaction outcomes and online registration on Tebcan.
- Respects patients by recognizing their rights; maintaining confidentiality.
- Maintains quality service by establishing and enforcing organization standards.
- Maintains patient care database by entering medical information as it becomes available; verifying findings and reports; backing up data.
- Contribute to team effort by accomplishing related results as needed.
- Remain on call and available at any time a patient is in Jordan at our destination.Â
Qualifications:
- BA in Medical related field or Business Administration or similarÂ
- 3 Years Experience in Working with Doctor and Medical Service providers
- Fluency in Arabic and EnglishÂ
- Excellent Communication skills
- Hard worker
