Job Brief:
As a Business Planning and Reporting Officer, the main responsibility will be building business plans, setting KPIs and monitoring the implementation closely. It requires collecting, evaluating, and presenting diverse data and information within the commercial department. This role involves supplying precise and prompt reports to facilitate decision-making processes.
Key Responsibilities:
- Support in building the annual business plan
- Report the actuals vs budget on monthly basis while analyzing short-falls and providing rectifying remedies.
- Build weekly/monthly and quarterly forecast
- Setting targets reflecting from business and Strategy plans and monitor closely
- Conducting data analysis to inform company’s strategy, including identifying and evaluating opportunities and tactics to achieve strategic and business goals.
- Collect and organize relevant data from internal and external sources and analyze it to identify trends and insights for reporting purposes.
- Supporting the development and automation of performance tracking reports.
- Monitor and assess adherence to regulatory requirements, internal policies, and industry standards, identify deviations and potential risks and report them to relevant parties.
- Present reports to senior management, executives, and other stakeholders, utilize data visualization techniques to enhance understanding and impact.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to gather necessary information, align with reporting requirements, and support decision-making by understanding stakeholder needs and providing insights.
- Monitor and analyze data and reporting metrics over time, identify areas for improvement or potential risks and recommend appropriate actions.
- Build and support the creation of operational dashboards at the business units' level, acting as a business analysts and developer throughout the process
