JOB TITLE
Senior Civil Engineer | MAF Retail | Head Office Jordan
ROLE SUMMARY
Manage the planning, design and execution of civil works for retail projects, including new store openings, remodels and maintenance projects. This role ensures that structural, architectural and site development aspects are designed, delivered on time, within budget and in compliance with safety, quality and sustainability standards. The position combines technical civil engineering expertise with strong project management skills to support efficient and cost-effective store development.
ROLE PROFILE

• Develop initial civil and architectural design concepts for retail stores including Fitout works such as finishing works tiling, paintings, masonry works and site layouts
• Create detailed civil and structural drawings using AutoCAD or similar tools.
• Oversee contractor works during construction and installation phases
• Ensure that contractors follow approved drawings, specifications and project standards.
• Maintain daily site logs detailing work progress, manpower and any issues encountered.
• Validate system performance against design specifications and operational requirements.
• Recommend practical solutions for unforeseen site conditions or design conflicts.
• Attend site meetings and provide technical input to ensure smooth progress.

REQUIREMENTS

• Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering or related field
• 7- 8 years in civil engineering and project management, preferably in retail or commercial construction.
• Proficiency in AutoCAD and project management tools.
• Ability to manage multiple projects under tight deadlines.
• Collaborative approach with cross-functional teams.
• Strong knowledge of structural design, site development and construction methods
