About the Role
As a Quality Engineer at Aspire, you will ensure the quality, reliability, and stability of our software products by performing manual and automated testing. You will work closely with developers, product managers, and QA teams to validate features, identify defects, and maintain high testing standards across the software lifecycle.
What You'll Do- Perform manual testing to validate application functionality and workflows.
- Develop and execute automated test scripts using Selenium (Java) with IntelliJ IDEA.
- Work with GitHub and GitHub Actions to manage test automation workflows.
- Collaborate with teams to identify, document, and track defects.
- Participate in test planning, review, and execution to ensure software quality.
- Learn and apply Playwright (TypeScript) for modern automation testing (optional but encouraged).
- Use Jira to manage tasks, bugs, and QA processes.
What You'll Need- Experience in manual testing.
- Experience with Selenium (Java) using IntelliJ IDEA.
- Familiarity with GitHub and GitHub Actions.
- Basic knowledge of Playwright (TypeScript) or willingness to learn.
- Experience using Jira for task and defect management.
- Strong analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills.
- Familiarity with general QA best practices and teamwork in agile environments.
- Awareness or knowledge of IT security best practices as defined by ISO/SOC or similar.
