Noorart, an international leader in publishing and distributing educational materials, is hiring a Senior Purchasing & Logistics Specialist (Part-Time).
We are looking for a highly experienced professional with a strong background in purchasing, procurement, and logistics, preferably within the private sector. This role requires a proactive approach, strong analytical skills, attention to detail, and excellent communication skills to support our operations efficiently.
Key Responsibilities
• Strategic Procurement: Develop and implement purchasing strategies to streamline procurement processes and ensure cost-effective sourcing.
• Supplier Management: Source and evaluate suppliers, negotiate contracts and pricing, and assess supplier performance to maintain quality and efficiency.
• Supplier Relations: Build and maintain strong relationships with key suppliers while negotiating favorable terms and delivery schedules.
• Cross-Functional Collaboration: Work closely with different departments to ensure timely and accurate delivery of materials and supplies.
• Inventory Management: Monitor stock levels and coordinate with suppliers to maintain optimal inventory levels.
• Market Analysis: Analyze market trends, pricing, and supplier options to identify cost-saving opportunities.
• Logistics Oversight: Coordinate transportation, shipping, warehousing, and distribution activities.
• Cost Optimization: Work with finance to manage budgets, control purchasing costs, and improve logistics efficiency.
• Order & Delivery Management: Prepare and follow up on purchase orders and ensure timely delivery of materials.
• Regulatory Compliance: Ensure adherence to company policies and local/international procurement regulations.
Preferred Candidate Profile
• Experience: Minimum 10 years of experience in purchasing, procurement, or logistics.
• Education: Bachelor’s degree in Industrial Engineering, Supply Chain Management, Business Administration, or a related field.
