Job Summary
Procurement Engineer with solid experience in industrial and plant environments, supporting procurement and supply chain activities to ensure the availability and reliability of materials, spare parts, and services required for plant operations. Responsible for managing purchasing processes, coordinating with internal departments and suppliers, and ensuring timely sourcing in line with technical and operational requirements. The role focuses on supporting the company needs by securing critical materials, evaluating suppliers, and ensuring compliance with company procedures, technical specifications, and cost-efficiency objectives.
Executive & Technical Duties
· Identify suppliers and evaluate their capabilities to meet procurement needs.
· Negotiate contracts and agreements with suppliers to secure favorable pricing and terms.
· Review and analyze tender documents and specifications to understand the requirements.
· Conduct cost analysis and pricing evaluations to determine competitive pricing strategies.
· Place purchase orders and ensure timely delivery of goods and services.
· Resolve supplier issues and discrepancies related to deliveries or quality.
· Maintain accurate records of purchases, contracts, and supplier interactions.
· Collaborate with internal teams to align purchasing activities with operational requirements.
