Job description

Responsibilities:

•                        Supervision of all crane operations using mobile cranes according to established safety procedures.

•                        Ensure readiness of cranes and lifting equipment through daily and periodic inspections, documenting inspection results in checklists.

•                        Coordinate with various departments to carry out lifting operations safely and efficiently while adhering to the specified timelines.

•                        Monitor crane operators' performance and ensure compliance with operational instructions and safety procedures.

•                        Prepare comprehensive risk assessments for all lifting operations and implement necessary corrective and preventive measures.

•                        Immediately report any malfunctions or potential hazards in cranes (lifts).

•                        Follow up on documents and records related to lifting operations, including work permits and inspection and maintenance reports.

•                        Ensure full compliance with safety and occupational health systems and instructions in place within the company.

•                        Supervise external crane contractors during factory shutdowns.

•                        Oversee the installation and dismantling of lifting equipment and ensure safe execution and assembly.

•                        Participate in preliminary investigations of incidents or near misses related to lifting operations.

•                        Full familiarity with international crane signals and adherence to them to ensure efficient and safe lifting operations.

•                        Maintain a safe and clean work environment and ensure readiness of emergency equipment.

•                        Perform any other tasks within his scope as assigned by the crane supervisor or management.
