Role overview

During your tenure as a Manager, you will demonstrate and develop your capabilities in the following areas:

  • Design and execute learning and development (L&D) strategy that aligns with the business goals and drives execution and organizational growth for business success.
  • Lead and oversee the needs assessment process, providing strategic guidance to L&D specialists to engage with key stakeholders and the team to understand learning priorities.
  • Leverage data-driven insights to continuously refine and innovate L&D strategies and programs.
  • Manage and lead the team towards building a successful learning culture.
  • Review and optimize L&D policies, processes, and procedures to ensure efficiency and scalability.
  • Implement best practices to enhance the quality and consistency of all L&D initiatives across the business line and grades.
  • Manage monthly and quarterly data reporting and analysis needs and communication practices such as monthly wires and newsletters.
  • Oversee the creation of engaging and effective learning content, including workshops, e-learning, and leadership programs.
  • Drive high-impact learning initiatives, ensuring alignment with organizational goals and team-specific objectives.
  • Facilitate high-impact sessions for leadership and functional training.
  • Evaluate the effectiveness of programs using metrics like ROI, engagement, skills analysis, and adoption based on internal needs and market dynamics.
  • Manage, mentor, and develop a team of L&D specialists, coordinators, or external facilitators.
  • Foster a culture of continuous learning within the team.
  • Evaluate, select, and manage relationships with external training vendors, ensuring high-quality deliverables including compliance management.
  • Develop and manage the L&D budget, ensuring cost-effective delivery of programs.
  • Implement the latest trends and technologies in learning, including gamification, microlearning, and AI-driven solutions.
  • Drive adoption and utilization of learning management systems or other learning platforms.

Qualifications

  • MBA, master's, or bachelor's degree in human resources or a related field.
  • 10+ years of experience in learning and development or related HR functions.
  • Any HR or L&D experience with practical application in previous roles is an advantage.
  • Exceptional organizational skills and strategic project management capabilities.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills in English; proficiency in Arabic is a plus.
  • Proven leadership skills with the ability to effectively manage and lead teams and collaborate as a proactive problem-solver and collaborative team leader.
  • High-level proficiency in Microsoft Office applications, especially Excel, Power BI, presentations (PowerPoint), and storytelling. Any certification in Excel or Power BI is an advantage.
  • Flexible to travel as required for overall program management and successful delivery.
  • Experience with Big Four firms is preferred.
