Job description
The Receiving and Storing Worker – Food and Beverages contributes to providing support and assistance in inventory management, maintaining required stock levels, and ensuring effective organization and arrangement of the storage area.
Responsibilities:
· Loading and unloading goods from storage and delivering them to the relevant departments.
· Maintaining cleanliness and hygiene in the loading and unloading area.
· Preparing requests that include the items needed for marketing centers and other locations in coordination with the supplier.
· Organizing and maintaining the receiving and storage areas in the kitchen efficiently.
· Transporting goods from storage to the kitchen and delivering them to the relevant departments.
· Assisting in inventory operations and stock counting as needed.
· Ensuring proper handling and storage of perishable and non-perishable items.
· Reporting any missing or damaged items during receiving or delivery.
· Maintaining a smooth communication flow between the storage and kitchen teams.
· Adhering to health, safety, and cleanliness standards at all times.
· Matching invoices with received goods and ensuring they are received correctly and accurately according to the invoices.
