About the job
As a UI/UX Designer at Aspire, you will lead the end-to-end design of mobile banking applications, from research and concept ideation to high-fidelity design and delivery. You will work closely with product managers, developers, and QA teams to create user-centric, visually appealing, and technically feasible solutions. In this role, you should have a strong eye for detail, a passion for fintech design, and the ability to turn insights into intuitive digital experiences.
What you’ll do
Lead the end-to-end design process for digital banking mobile applications.
Conduct user research, interviews, and usability testing to gather insights and validate design decisions.
Create user flows, wireframes, prototypes, and high-fidelity UI mockups that clearly illustrate functionality and user interaction.
Develop and maintain design systems to ensure consistency across mobile and web platforms.
Collaborate with product managers, developers, and QA teams to deliver aesthetically pleasing and technically feasible designs.
Apply UX best practices and data-driven insights to continuously improve user experience and app performance.
Stay current with mobile design trends, fintech UX standards, and emerging technologies in digital banking.
Mentor junior designers and contribute to a culture of creativity and innovation within the design team.
What you’ll needBachelor’s degree in Design, Human-Computer Interaction (HCI), or a related field.
3+ years of professional experience in UI/UX design, with at least 3 years in mobile app design.
Proven experience designing for digital banking, fintech, or financial services platforms.
Strong proficiency in Figma, Adobe XD, Sketch, or similar design tools.
Solid understanding of UX research methods, information architecture, and interaction design principles.
Strong visual design skills with attention to typography, color, and layout.
Experience working in Agile environments and collaborating closely with development teams.
Excellent communication skills and the ability to articulate design decisions clearly.
A portfolio demonstrating mobile banking or fintech-related design projects is required.
Awareness or knowledge of IT security best practices as defined by ISO/SOC or similar.
