Roles & Responsibilities
What you’ll do
- Lead the end-to-end design process for digital banking mobile applications.
- Conduct user research, interviews, and usability testing to gather insights and validate design decisions.
- Create user flows, wireframes, prototypes, and high-fidelity UI mockups that clearly illustrate functionality and user interaction.
- Develop and maintain design systems to ensure consistency across mobile and web platforms.
- Collaborate with product managers, developers, and QA teams to deliver aesthetically pleasing and technically feasible designs.
- Apply UX best practices and data-driven insights to continuously improve user experience and app performance.
- Stay current with mobile design trends, fintech UX standards, and emerging technologies in digital banking.
- Mentor junior designers and contribute to a culture of creativity and innovation within the design team.
What you’ll need
- Bachelor’s degree in Design, Human-Computer Interaction (HCI), or a related field.
- 3+ years of professional experience in UI/UX design, with at least 3 years in mobile app design.
- Proven experience designing for digital banking, fintech, or financial services platforms.
- Strong proficiency in Figma, Adobe XD, Sketch, or similar design tools.
- Solid understanding of UX research methods, information architecture, and interaction design principles.
- Strong visual design skills with attention to typography, color, and layout.
- Experience working in Agile environments and collaborating closely with development teams.
- Excellent communication skills and the ability to articulate design decisions clearly.
- A portfolio demonstrating mobile banking or fintech-related design projects is required.
- Awareness or knowledge of IT security best practices as defined by ISO/SOC or similar.
