Optimiza is seeking a skilled VOIP Engineer with a focus on Voice Engineering to join our team.
The successful candidate will be responsible for designing, implementing, and supporting voice network solutions, ensuring seamless communication and collaboration across the organization.
Key Responsibilities: Install, configure, and maintain Cisco Unified Communications Manager (CUCM) and related UC applications (Unity Connection, IM&P, CER, UCCX) Manage SIP trunks, dial plans, route patterns, translation rules, and call-routing logic.
Support and configure Cisco IP phones, softphones, and video endpoints.
Provide Level 1–3 support for VoIP issues including call quality, registration failures, codec mismatches, and signaling problems.
Troubleshoot SIP, SCCP, RTP, QoS, and network-related voice issues using tools such as RTMT, Wireshark, and Cisco logs.
Monitor performance, resolve incidents, and perform root-cause analysis.
Work with network teams to ensure proper QoS markings, VLAN configurations, and bandwidth provisioning for voice traffic.
Validate end-to-end connectivity and ensure adherence to voice network best practices.
Configure and manage Cisco voice gateways (MGCP, H.
323, SIP), CUBE, and PSTN connectivity.
Implement dial-peers, transcoding, conferencing resources, and survivability mechanisms (SRST).
Bachelor’s degree in Telecommunication Engineering or any other relevant field.
1-3 years of experience in implementing Cisco VOIP solutions.
CCNP Collaboration preferred.
