Job Title: Pre-Legal Liaison  


Department: Operations


Division: Legal Negotiations


Location: Amman


Reports to: Pre-Legal Team Lead


Job Objectives:


The Pre-Legal Liaison is responsible for reviewing and validating all incoming pre-legal files to ensure accuracy and legal readiness before assigning them to Pre-Legal Negotiators. This role ensures timely case progression, balanced workload distribution, and smooth coordination between teams. The Liaison acts as the operational bridge within the Pre-Legal process, maintaining documentation integrity and supporting overall legal process efficiency. 


Responsibilities and duties: 


1. File Review & Legal Readiness


• Review pre-legal files to verify completeness, accuracy, and compliance with legal standards 


• Identify missing documents or inconsistencies and coordinate resolutions with relevant departments 


• Ensure all files meet internal documentation and readiness criteria prior to assignment 


2. Assignment & Workload Coordination


• Assign cases to Pre-Legal Negotiators based on case complexity, workload, and specialization 


• Monitor assignment progress using internal tracking tools and flag any bottlenecks 


• Maintain accurate records of all assignments and reassignments 


3. Stakeholder Communication & Escalation Handling


• Liaise between Pre-Legal and Legal Negotiators to support escalations and transitions 


• Communicate critical updates, risks, or delays to management and team leads 


• Ensure proactive, respectful, and timely communication across all internal teams 


4. Documentation & Compliance


• Maintain secure and organized documentation for all reviewed and assigned files 


• Ensure all file handling complies with company policy, legal standards, and audit requirements 


• Support internal reviews by maintaining accurate documentation history 


5. Reporting & Process Improvement


• Generate daily, weekly, and monthly reports on file volume, assignment turnaround, and workflow efficiency 


• Identify recurring issues and contribute to improving pre-legal procedures 


• Collaborate with leadership to refine SOPs and support the onboarding of new Pre-Legal Negotiators 


Qualifications: 


• Diploma in Business Administration, Finance, or a related field is a minimum requirement 


• Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Finance, or a related field “is a plus” 


• Certification or formal training in collections or negotiation is an advantage. 


Years of Experience:  


Minimum of 1–2 years in legal, pre-legal, administrative, or coordination roles 


Experience in legal documentation, collections, or administrative support is strongly preferred

Technical Requirements:


• Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Outlook, Word) 


• Familiarity with CRM systems and case tracking tools 


• Ability to manage and maintain secure documentation systems 


• Strong reporting and analytical documentation skills

• Reports to: Pre-Legal Team Lead 


• Works with: Pre-Legal Negotiators, Legal Negotiators, Team Leads, and Department Managers
