Roles & Responsibilities
Write high-quality content for websites, landing pages, blogs, press releases, articles, and digital campaigns
Research and produce fact-based content on current affairs, political developments, and regional topics with a focus on GCC markets
Apply journalistic standards to all output: source verification, fact-checking, and editorial accuracy
Translate complex and technical subjects into clear, accessible, and engaging copy
Ensure all content aligns with each client's brand voice, messaging guidelines, and communication objectives
Adapt tone and register across industries from government communications to commercial brand content
Edit, proofread, and refine copy to ensure accuracy, clarity, grammar, and consistency across deliverables
Work with PR, marketing, and design teams to support integrated campaigns and content strategies
Contribute to content planning, including editorial calendars and campaign-based content frameworks
Participate in briefing sessions and support ideation across accounts
Stay current on news cycles, media trends, and regional developments to ensure timely, relevant content
Optimize content for digital platforms using basic SEO principles structure, readability, and keywords
Ensure content is contextually appropriate for GCC and wider MENA audiences
Manage multiple content requirements simultaneously without compromising quality
Meet deadlines consistently in a fast-paced agency environment
Ensure all output supports client objectives and maintains editorial integrity
Desired Candidate Profile
Bachelor s degree preferably in Journalism, Mass Communication, Media Studies, English Literature, Political Science, or a related field.
3 6 years in journalism, news media, or content roles
Previous experience in a news channel, publication, communications agency, or media production environment
Strong portfolio of published editorial or digital content
Excellent writing, research, and editing skills in English
Solid understanding of GCC current affairs, political landscape, and regional media dynamics
Knowledge of SEO fundamentals and digital content best practices
Ability to work across formats long-form, short-form, social copy, scripts, and press materials
Detail-oriented with strong editorial judgment
Curious and informed follows news cycles and regional developments closely
Collaborative and responsive to feedback
Able to manage multiple deadlines across varied accounts and industries
