JOB SUMMARY
The Nurse provides nursing and clinical support services within the PHC program at Azraq Refugee Camp. The role includes patient triage, basic nursing procedures, diagnostic support, health education, and maintaining accurate medical documentation while ensuring quality patient care and compliance with organizational protocols and infection prevention standards.

MAIN TASKS AND RESPONSABILITIES
- Provide nursing care and support within the PHC clinic according to organizational protocols and nursing standards.
- Perform patient triage and record vital signs and basic measurements including weight, height, temperature, blood pressure, pulse, and other relevant clinical parameters.
- Assist physicians during patient consultations and support clinical assessment and management.
- Perform nursing procedures as prescribed by physicians, including wound dressing, injections, nebulization, and other basic clinical interventions.
- Perform and/or assist with diagnostic procedures and rapid tests including ECG, blood glucose, hemoglobin, urine analysis, pregnancy tests, and other available point-of-care tests.
- Provide health education and counseling to patients regarding their medical conditions, treatment plans, medication use, follow-up visits, and preventive health practices.
- Ensure patients understand prescribed treatments, follow-up instructions, and referral recommendations.
- Maintain examination and treatment rooms in a clean, organized, and adequately supplied condition to ensure continuity of services.
- Assist in maintaining accurate and timely patient medical records, referral forms, treatment documentation, and clinic reporting tools.
- Support patient flow organization within the clinic to ensure efficient and quality service delivery.
- Work collaboratively with doctors, pharmacists, and other healthcare staff to support integrated and patient-centered care.
- Ensure compliance with infection prevention and control (IPC) standards, patient confidentiality, organizational SOPs, and quality standards.
- Participate in trainings, supervision sessions, and continuous professional development activities as requested.
- Perform any additional duties assigned by the supervisor in line with operational needs.

MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS
- Minimum Bachelor’s degree of nursing from a Jordanian University & MOH Licensing.
- Experience with a NGO (Preferred).
- Good in English Language.
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
