About the Job
The Flight Performance Engineer supports aircraft operational performance activities by maintaining aircraft performance data, assisting in flight planning and fuel efficiency initiatives, supporting weight and balance processes, and maintaining navigation database updates to ensure safe, compliant, and efficient airline operations.
Duties and Responsibilities:
- Prepare and distribute aircraft performance software packages such as Airbus LPC FLYSMART and Boeing OPT.
- Support aircraft performance calculations for takeoff, enroute, and landing using manufacturer-approved software.
- Assist in reviewing airport data, NOTAMs, and operational documentation to ensure operational suitability and compliance.
- Maintain and update operational performance documentation and records.
- Ensure the availability and validity of certified aircraft performance data from the Aircraft Flight Manual (AFM) and related operational sources.
- Assist in preparing and publishing operational performance charts and related documents.
- Support aircraft performance monitoring activities and contribute to performance analysis reports.
- Assist in evaluating aircraft operational performance and supporting baseline performance tracking.
- Support operational assessments related to special cargo requirements, including live animal transportation capability.
- Prepare flight plans for operational analysis and study purposes.
- Support fuel conservation and fuel monitoring initiatives through data collection and reporting.
- Assist in maintaining weight and balance documentation, calculations, and operational records.
- Coordinate navigation database updates and distribution for Flight Management Systems (FMS).
- Coordinate with internal departments and operational stakeholders to support daily operational requirements.

- Familiarity with aviation operational documentation, NOTAMs, and airport data
