Context
Branch Manager - Jordan
Missions/Main Duties
- Lead SYSTRA Jordan, including operational setup, local coordination, and readiness for business activities.
- Oversee the daily activities and branch operations to ensure smooth, efficient, and compliant business functioning.
- Lead and manage the overall operations and strategic direction of SYSTRA Jordan.
- Develop and implement the branch business plan in alignment with regional and corporate objectives.
- Identify and pursue new business opportunities across the Jordanian market.
- Build, maintain, and strengthen relationships with clients, partners, authorities, and key stakeholders.
- Oversee bids, tenders, and commercial proposals to support profitable growth.
- Ensure successful project delivery across the branch portfolio, with a focus on client satisfaction, quality, schedule, and budget.
- Provide executive oversight to multidisciplinary engineering and project teams.
- Apply strong civil construction expertise to support project planning, execution, risk management, and delivery decisions.
- Monitor operational performance and implement improvements where needed.
- Ensure compliance with company policies, local regulations, HSE standards, and quality requirements.
Profile/Skills
Education: Possibly Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering, Civil Construction, or a related field, and/or Business administration degree and project management experience required.
Background:
- At least 10 years’ experience in similar industry, design or Construction, preferably in transportation projects.
- Strong understanding of project delivery, contract administration, and commercial risk management.
- Experience in managing complex stakeholder environments.
- Knowledge of the Jordanian market and regional infrastructure sector is highly desirable.
- Strong communication and decision-making skills.
