Roles & Responsibilities

SRD Center is preparing a proposal for a final evaluation of a project related to persons with disabilities and injuries within the Syrian population affected by the crisis. The evaluation will take place in Jordan and Iraqi Kurdistan, and Syria in a remote manner. SRD requires an international consultant with experience in post-project evaluation, data collection, and surveys, and with experience in projects related to empowering persons with disabilities. The role includes about 25 days of fieldwork from October 2016 (tentative).

Desired Candidate Profile

A minimum of 10 years experience in projects related to empowering persons with disabilities.

Demonstrate experience in post-project evaluation, data collection and surveys activity.

Demonstrate knowledge and previous experience in working in Jordan, Iraqi Kurdistan, or Syria.

Proven capacity in conducting research at the national and sub-national level, including capacity to manage, analyze, and interpret large sets of collected data and produce quality reports.

In-depth knowledge of education projects programming, gender-related dynamics.

English language is a must, and Arabic language capability is asset.

Excellent writing and reporting skills.
