Médecins Sans Frontières is running a reconstructive surgery program in Amman, which opened in 2006, is giving access to reconstructive surgery (orthopedic, plastic, and maxillo-facial) to war-wounded people providing comprehensive health care, MSF aims at identifying and referring patients from neighboring countries (Iraq, Yemen, Syria, and other countries with conflicts) then ensuring their medical follow-up after discharge.

Médecins Sans Frontières Reconstructive Surgery in Amman are seeking a (1) Medical Secretary – Full time contract.

DIMENSION OF POST
Reconstructive Surgery Hospital with an average of 550 admissions per year, over 1000 surgeries annually, 72 surgical beds and 126 rehabilitation beds, 2 OTs for orthopedic, maxillo-facial and plastic reconstructive surgeries, OPD with an average 550 consultations / month, physiotherapy and psychosocial department, and Antimicrobial Resistance activity (Stewardship, IPC and Micro laboratory) within the hospital.

MAIN PRUPOSE
The secretary provides administrative, organizational, and communication support to both the Hospital Director and the Quality Referent. 
The position ensures smooth coordination of meetings, documentation, reporting, internal communication, and follow-up of operational, medical and quality-related activities.
Carrying out medical data collection and entry activities into the mission database recording all relevant clinical and demographic data on patients and ensuring data quality/reliability, according to MSF protocols and maintaining confidentiality while producing the appropriate, updated documents for the medical team in order to support decision making processes. 
The role requires strong organizational skills, confidentiality, flexibility, and the ability to manage priorities across two departments.

QUALITY:
The secretary is working under the supervision of the Quality Referent during his/her dedicated time (50%).
