Job Details

Responsibilities

  • Deliver practical and engaging Procreate classes specialized in jewelry design.
  • Teach students how to create digital jewelry sketches, concepts, and detailed illustrations using Procreate.
  • Demonstrate jewelry-specific techniques including metal rendering, gemstones, diamonds, reflections, shadows, textures, and 3D effects.
  • Teach the use of Procreate brushes, layers, masks, selections, blending modes, color palettes, and other relevant tools.
  • Guide students in translating traditional jewelry concepts and hand sketches into polished digital artwork.
  • Teach techniques for accurately representing different jewelry materials, finishes, stones, and settings.
  • Provide practical exercises, demonstrations, assignments, and constructive feedback.
  • Help students develop professional jewelry design portfolios and presentation boards.
  • Adapt teaching methods according to students different skill levels and learning needs.
  • Stay updated with current digital jewelry illustration techniques, trends, and industry practices.
  • Maintain a professional and creative classroom environment.

Qualifications

  • Strong practical knowledge of Procreate, particularly for jewelry illustration and digital rendering.
  • Professional or teaching experience in jewelry design, digital illustration, or a related creative field.
  • Strong understanding of jewelry proportions, materials, gemstones, settings, and construction.
  • Ability to create realistic and visually appealing jewelry renderings.
  • Strong communication, presentation, and teaching skills.
  • A professional portfolio demonstrating jewelry design and Procreate work

Requirements

  • Previous experience teaching Procreate or digital jewelry illustration.
  • Experience working with jewelry brands, studios, or design houses.
  • Knowledge of jewelry CAD or other digital design tools is an advantage.
  • Experience developing creative projects, portfolios, or industry-focused courses.

Desired Candidate Profile

  • Bachelor s degree, diploma, or professional qualification in Jewelry Design, Fashion Design, Fine Arts, Graphic Design, or a related field.
  • Previous experience teaching Procreate or digital jewelry illustration.
  • Experience working with jewelry brands, studios, or design houses.
  • Knowledge of jewelry CAD or other digital design tools is an advantage.
