<section><p class="heading jdMain">Job Description</p><p class="heading">Roles & Responsibilities</p><div class="paragraph"><p>The IMF Resident Representative office for Jordan is seeking to hire a highly qualified Driver to join its team, preferably starting on August 1, 2026. The position is offered as a one-year local contractual appointment, with the possibility of renewal for successive terms of up to three years, subject to continued need and satisfactory performance. Candidates must be nationals or residents of Jordan or be able to independently obtain a valid work permit before starting employment with the Fund to be considered. Proof of nationality, residency, and/or work authorization will be required prior to starting employment. The IMF will not sponsor or assist with obtaining work permits.</p><p><strong>Job Summary</strong></p><p>The driver drives office vehicles for the transport of authorized personnel (usually the Head of Office) and delivery and collection of documents or goods over short distances. AVSI Foundation has been operating in Jordan since 2006 and contributed in supporting the most vulnerable local communities, Palestinian, Iraqi and Syrian refugees through providing projects and activities that focus on social protection, health and psycho-social assistance, education, vocational training and job placement and income-generating activities. RISE: Revitalizing Initiatives for Sustainable Empowerment in Cultural Heritage is a two-year project funded by the European Union. The project aims to improve the livelihoods of women, youth, and vulnerable groups in Makawer and Rihab, while preserving and promoting initiatives in tangible and intangible cultural heritage, strengthening local capacities for sustainable tourism, cultural heritage enhancement and entrepreneurship. The Field Officer in Makawe r will be responsible of coordinating the implementation of the activities in the targeted area. Given the limited presence of humanitarian and development actors in the target area, the Field Officer is expected to play a key role in adapting project approaches to the local context, strenghtening community engagement, and supporting local stakeholders in understanding and engaging with project methodologies. This position is limited duration agreement, based in Amman.</p>
<p><strong>Position Description/Summary: </strong></p>
<p>Under the supervision of the Water and Treated wastewater (TWW) Policy and Planning Specialist, the Water and Wastewater Specialist will support or lead a range of technical assistance activities to support the National Conveyor Project Management Unit (NCPMU), associated readiness activities, and wider water sector institutions including the Ministry of Water and Irrigation (MWI), the Water Authority of Jordan (WAJ), the Jordan Valley Authority (JVA), utilities, and other agencies. WEC currently supports the NCPMU to operationalize its Readiness Functions, which includes monitoring and delivery, donor and finance coordination, and strategic communications for NCP Readiness Interventions. WEC also supports the NCPMU with technical assessments, market research, and strategic planning related to the NCP and NCP Readiness. WEC also works with the JVA, WAJ, MWI, and utilities on strategic interventions, including national strategies, assessments, strategic plans, and master plans for water and wastewater systems. <p><strong>Responsibilities: </strong></p>
