At our hotels these associates may work across departments (e.g., kitchen, food and beverage, laundry) to support cleaning needs. To date, the Primero community has brought together over 350 partners, including governments, United Nations agencies and civil society organizations, who rely on Primero for their frontline protection workers who need a safe, user-friendly solution for data management. In 2025, more than 2 million children and survivors of violence received digitally enabled services through Primero, making Primero one the largest and most reliable administrative data sources in the child protection sector. Identify and meet the standard and special service requirements of the customers at check-in, transfer desk, special services and boarding gates by adhering to the set service standards and procedures so that the customers are handled in a friendly and efficient manner. Adhere to the internal operating boarding procedures by ensuring that laid down boarding priorities, announcements, hand baggage removal, regular staff briefing and stationary/equipment availability before the flight. Post the flight, ensure flight coupon reconciliation and head count confirmation is in order to assist the smooth process of a safe and on time departure of EK flights in order to achieve EK standards and customer satisfaction. Guide and advise team members to ensure that superior customer service levels are upheld and assist the process of ensuring the safe and on-time departure of EK flights. <p><strong><u>ACCOUNTABILITIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES</u></strong></p>
<p>In line with existing working procedures, and institutional guidelines, the PFL Field Officer 3:</p>
<ul>
<li>Under the supervision of the Head of SYJ and in line with established workflows; ensures that proper individual follow-up of cases is provided, by communicating with other ICRC structures, the sub-delegations in Syria, and National Societies for all STM PFL-related individual requests and caseload revision analysis and leads the work of their team for this purpose.</li>
<li>Supports the Head of SYJ in the implementation of protection activities in Syria in line with existing PFL guidelines and working procedures and ensures proper supervision and timely management of all PFL requests (including F/FF, AoA/TC, non-indexed cases, missing caseload, etc.) attributed from the STM inbox (dam_tracing_services) as well as demands for analysis.</li>
<li>Provides Backoffice support to the protection team in Syria related to any PFL question raised (collections of requests, establishment of lists, follow up on “to-dos”, transmission of documents/cases, analysis etc.).</li>
<li>Is responsible to attribute tasks and caseloads to their team and takes concretely part in the treatment of complex cases directly (approx. 20% of the daily treatment of cases), especially when it involves coordination with other colleagues from other sections/ departments/ Syria.</li>
<li>Is the PFL counterpart of the Data Manager in charge of the files h/she supervises for any question related to data processes; the tools and transmission of information.</li>
<li>Filters and summarizes weekly all issues and questions to be addressed regarding the daily business to report to the Head of SYJ and shares further when relevant.</li>
<li>Censors and processes Red Cross Messages and enter them in the ICRC SYJ Tracking Tool, and flags patterns/inconsistencies to the Head of SYJ.</li>
<li>Ensures data entry and quality control of PFL cases managed by their team (incoming/outgoing).</li>
<li>Ensures team’s adherence to PROT6 procedures and workflows. Any required interpretation/ doubt on its application must be escalated and mitigated with the Head of SYJ.</li>
<li>Ensures that their own entries in the Tracking Tool corresponds and mirror the necessary data in the PROT6, as well in the physical individual files, according to the predefined standards (DATA).</li>
<li>Is the Focal Point for analysing and prioritizing the caseloads to be addressed by their team in line with the objectives of concerned departments (under the lead of DAM) to, ultimately, enable the Head of SYJ and the Coordination in DAM to set up PFL/Missing priorities.</li>
<li>Contributes to supervise the B2 positions in the Unit for the daily management of the STM, the treatment of AoAs/RCMs/Notifications/Attestations/TCs, cases to be analysed and all referrals, when needed.</li>
<li>Performs regular follow-up of individual specific cases with the National Societies and ICRC delegations and structures for related individual requests whenever complex cases arise and require their expertise (under the supervision of the Head of SYS when relevant),</li>
<li>Ensures the sustainability of the work among the team members and the coordination with the staff of other teams.</li>
<li>Delivers briefing and ensures onboarding to staff involved upon Head of SYJ demand and in cooperation with other team leaders.</li>
<li>Recruit SYJ team members when needed, under the supervision of the Head of SYJ.</li>
<li>Ensures the mobilization of their team when SYJ collective efforts are requested under pressure to treat other unit’s files.</li>
<li>Keeps abreast of the political developments in Syria and monitors and documents Syria PFL and missing person files related topics, as per Caseload Revision and Analysis tasks, in line with DAM requests.</li>
<li>Undertakes archiving tasks in line with standard procedures.</li>
<li>Supports the post- and pre-visit preparations of the field teams in Syria PFL wise.</li>
<li>Translates/interprets upon request for SYJ.</li>
<li>Contributes to reporting and the collection of statistical data.</li>
<li>Carries out administrative tasks relating to the follow-up of PFL activities.</li>
<li>Carries out additional tasks relating to PFL/Missing in Syria and supports other tasks of the SYS-SYJ workload on demand of the Head of Unit.</li>

<p><strong><u>PEOPLE MANAGEMENT RESPONSIBILITIES </u></strong></p>
<ul>
<li>S/he manages, coordinates, coaches, and monitors a team of 1 to 5 PFL Field Officers to conduct daily PFL activities spanning from quality control to addressing, sharing and reporting on PFL cases with a large number of National Societies/ICRC Delegations (= Family Links Network).</li>
<li>Understands and supervises the Performance Management & Development (PMD) activities for the assigned team.</li>
<li>Makes sure that deadlines for the PMD cycle are met.</li>
<li>Engages in ongoing and continuous feedback and support, for employees directly supervised.</li>
