<p ><strong >Purpose/objective of the position:</strong></p>
<p >Under the supervision of the Case Workers Team Leader and with technical support from the Protection Coordinator, Case Worker will be responsible to identify and assess cases in need of individual support. The Case Worker will act according to the guiding principles of GBV and Child Protection case management and will ensure a non-discriminatory approach, act according to the best interests of the child, ensure accountability, respect professional boundaries, and avoid conflicts of interest.</p>

<li >Conduct intake interviews with individuals identified by the team during outreach work or referred by other agencies, and open a case if vulnerability criteria are met; </li>
<li >Perform service mapping assessments; </li>

information about the organisation.<br> JOB CONTEXT: HI’s Regional Programme (Mashriq) coordinates missions in 4 different countries (Egypt, Jordan, Lebanon, and Syria).<br> The programme is covering the full mandate of HI – emergency, mine action and development with a strong focus on continuum and resilience.<br> The program has a total volume expected for 2026 of 12M Euros with 300 staff.<br> The main sectors of intervention are integrated rehabilitation and MHPSS, inclusive education, Economic inclusion including basic needs and economic recovery), Humanitarian mines actions and Inclusive Humanitarian Actions/Inclusive governance.<br> Education is one of the core sector of intervention in most of the countries within the region.<br> HI currently implements inclusive education projects in Jordan, Lebanon and Syria, while seeking to develop interventions in Egypt.<br> In Syria, HI is supporting Education in Emergencies (EiE) partners (international INGOs and local NGOs) to make their EiE intervention inclusive of children with disabilities, through a mix approach of technical capacity building to partners and direct operational support to children with disabilities and their caregivers.<br> YOUR MISSION: Based on the evolution of the context in the region, the Regional Rehabilitation Specialist will have to support the development of the Operational strategy and the revision of the sectorial strategy developed in the previous years to be adapted to the evolution of the context, especially in Lebanon.<br> Under the line management of the Technical Head of Program (THoP), you contribute to the implementation of the mandate of HI and the operational strategy of HI MASHRIQ program in your field of expertise, while respecting the HI DGA policy.<br> You ensure optimal quality and impact of the projects implemented in the countries, through a delegation system with appropriate control mechanisms.<br> You share with all HI managers the responsibility of a sound management and successful functioning of the global organization.<br> The post holder leverages expertise in Rehabilitation to offer strategic and/or operational support to the countries in This arrangement, confirmed until the end of 2026, is intended to provide the structural flexibility and operational responsiveness required in the current context, while also anticipating and preparing for a transfer back to Mashreq Programme (regional office).</p> <p>The mission's operational strategy relies on 4 pillars: Health (Rehabilitation and P&O), Armed Violence Reduction, Atlas Logistics, and Inclusive Education. Cross-cutting components include IHA, MHPSS, Protection Mainstreaming, and DGA. </p> <p>Women, men, girls and boys with disabilities in the West Bank and Gaza Strip have been disproportionately impacted by the recurrent escalations and unprecedented humanitarian crisis.
