<li><strong>Education :</strong> Master or equivalent (Advanced University Degree) Business Administration, Health, Supply Chain Management, Management, Economics, Engineering Health or related social science field</li>
<li><strong>Work Experience:</strong> At least 8 years of experience in logistics, cold chain management, supply chain, of which at least 4 years in developing countries, is required. Knowledge of the latest development in the field of temperature studies, cold chain equipment management and EVM 2.0 is required. Knowledge and experience in HFSE and HCWM assessments and implementation.</li>
<li><strong>Skills :</strong> Strong understanding of immunization programmes and related cold chain and vaccine management requirements.</li>
<li>Demonstrated ability to manage complex technical projects and provide strategic guidance in diverse and challenging environments.</li>
<li>Proven ability to plan, prioritize, and manage multiple activities while anticipating risks and adjusting priorities as required.</li>
<li>Excellent analytical, written, and verbal communication skills.</li>
<li>Advanced stakeholder engagement, negotiation, and partnership-building skills.</li>

Perform preventive maintenance on tools and kitchen and mechanical room equipment, including cleaning and lubrication. Visually inspect tools, equipment, or machines. <p>MSF uses public communications to support its medical humanitarian action, to bear witness to the crises it works in, to make its work known to the public, and to secure and sustain public support for its social mission, including through fundraising and recruitment efforts.</p>
<p>The purpose of the field communications officer (FCO) is to implement communications strategies and activities in direct support of MSF's medical humanitarian programs and social mission. The focus of FCO activities is on content production and dissemination, on media management and monitoring, and on contributing to communications strategies and tactics.</p>

<p><strong>What would your day at GAC look like?</strong></p><br><p>· Handle agency appointments, operational and commercial matters for all types of vessels calling at Aqaba port under GAC’s agency.</p><br><p>· Coordinate with Aqaba port authorities on operations and documentation to ensure smooth delivery of services.</p><br><p>· Follow up with customers, principals and related parties.</p><br><p>· Handle the provision of bunker fuel supplies for vessels at Aqaba port.</p><br><p>· Handle Ro-Ro export operations including space booking, issuing Bills of Lading and manifests.</p><br><p>· Handle husbandry activities such as crew changes, spare parts logistics, landed cargo and provisions supply and ensure timely delivery of all services to the vessels calling at Aqaba port under our agency.</p><br><p>· Handle proforma DA inquiries and questionnaires regarding rules, regulations and tariffs at Aqaba port.</p><br><p>· Calculate the proforma disbursement account and final disbursement account (FDA).</p><br><p>· Enter vessels’ data, services, invoices, etc. into the related systems.</p><br><p>· Ensure all related files and communications are in line with GAC Jordan’s administrative procedures.</p><br><p>· Assist in preparing departmental reports.</p><br><p><strong>What qualifications does our Shipping Officer have?</strong></p><br><p> Education: Bachelor’s degree / Industrial Engineering or logistics or Business Administration.</p><br><p> Experience: 0-1 years of experience.</p><br><p> Technical skills: MS Office</p><br><p> Soft skills: very well-spoken English / communication / problem solving.</p><br><p><strong>What’s in it for you?</strong></p><br><p>This is your chance to become part of the global GAC team which has been providing professional shipping, logistics and marine services since 1956. Reporting directly to the Security Manager (or their delegate), you will support daily security operations, monitor hotel premises, respond to incidents, and ensure compliance with safety and security procedures in line with IHG standards.</p><br><p><strong>Your Responsibilities Will Include:</strong></p><br><ul><li>Conduct regular patrols of guest areas, public spaces, back-of-house facilities, parking areas, and hotel grounds to ensure safety and security.</li><li>Monitor security systems, including CCTV cameras, alarms, access control systems, and fire life safety equipment.</li><li>Respond promptly and professionally to emergencies, incidents, accidents, and guest or colleague concerns.</li><li>Control access to restricted areas and ensure compliance with hotel security procedures.</li><li>Prepare accurate incident, accident, and occurrence reports and maintain detailed security records.</li><li>Support fire, health, safety, and emergency response procedures, including evacuations and drills.</li><li>Assist guests and colleagues with safety-related matters while maintaining a professional and service-oriented approach.</li><li>Investigate security incidents and report findings to management as required.</li><li>Monitor contractor and visitor activities to ensure compliance with hotel policies and safety requirements.</li><li>Protect hotel assets and support loss prevention initiatives.</li><li>Maintain a visible security presence while delivering a positive guest experience.</li><li>Support other operational departments during special events, VIP visits, and high-occupancy periods.</li></ul><p><strong>What we need from you</strong></p><br><ul><li>Minimum 1–2 years of experience in Security, Safety, Military, Police, Civil Defense, or a related field, preferably within a hotel or hospitality environment.</li><li>Knowledge of security procedures, access control, emergency response, and incident reporting.</li><li>Strong observation, problem-solving, and decision-making skills.</li><li>Ability to remain calm and professional in emergency situations.</li><li>Good communication and interpersonal skills with a guest-focused attitude.</li><li>Basic computer skills and ability to prepare reports and maintain records.</li><li>Good command of English; Arabic is essential.</li><li>Physically fit and able to perform patrol duties throughout the property.</li><li>A high level of integrity, reliability, and professionalism.</li><li>Valid security, first aid, fire safety, or related certifications are considered an advantage.</li></ul><p><strong>What you can expect from us</strong></p><br><p>We give our people everything they need to thrive — from a competitive salary that rewards your hard work, to a wide range of benefits designed to support your wellbeing and growth.
