About the role
We are looking for an experienced Engineering Manager – ERP & CRM to lead the development, strategy, and delivery of the systems that power Syarah's core business operations. The ideal candidate combines strong engineering expertise with a proven ability to build and lead high-performing teams in a fast-paced environment.

Key responsibilities

Lead, manage, and grow a team of backend engineers working across Python (Frappe/ERPNext) and PHP, owning team structure, hiring, and onboarding.

Own the strategy, roadmap, and delivery of Syarah’s ERP and CRM platforms, the systems that run sales, finance, inventory, operations, and customer engagement.

Set clear team and individual goals through OKRs, aligning day-to-day engineering execution with broader company objectives and tracking measurable outcomes.

Run performance management end to end, including regular 1:1s, structured feedback, performance reviews, growth plans, and recognition.

Mentor and develop engineers at every level, deepening technical skills, ownership, and a culture of accountability and continuous improvement.

Translate company goals into a clear engineering roadmap, and be accountable for the team delivering against it on time and to a high standard.

Define and enforce engineering standards across code quality, architecture, testing, security, and documentation for ERP and CRM systems.

Own the technical direction of ERPNext/Frappe customizations, modules, and integrations, and of PHP-based CRM and internal business applications.

Lead the design and delivery of integrations connecting ERP, CRM, payments, and other operational and data systems across the business.

Partner with finance, operations, sales, and product stakeholders to capture requirements and translate them into well-scoped, prioritized engineering work.

Drive healthy delivery practices, including sprint planning, estimation, code review, CI/CD, and release management, to ship reliably and predictably.

Own reliability, uptime, and incident response for business-critical ERP and CRM platforms, putting in place monitoring, alerting, and on-call practices.

Manage technical debt, scalability, and platform evolution, balancing short-term delivery against long-term maintainability and cost.

Report progress, risks, trade-offs, and resourcing needs clearly to senior leadership, and represent the ERP and CRM engineering function across the company.

What we’re looking for

Proven experience managing and growing software engineering teams, with a track record of setting goals and OKRs, running performance management, and delivering against company objectives.

Strong hands-on background in backend engineering with Python and PHP, ideally including ERPNext/Frappe and modern PHP frameworks.

Solid understanding of ERP and CRM systems, business process automation, and integrations across finance, sales, and operations.

Requirements

About Syarah
Syarah is one of the leading automotive e-commerce platforms in Saudi Arabia, transforming the way people buy, sell, finance, and own vehicles. Through technology, data, and innovative financial solutions, Syarah delivers a seamless customer experience while building scalable systems that support rapid business growth across sales, operations, finance, and customer engagement.

About the role
We are looking for an experienced Engineering Manager – ERP & CRM to lead the development, strategy, and delivery of the systems that power Syarah's core business operations. In this role, you will manage a team of backend engineers, drive the technical direction of our ERPNext/Frappe and CRM platforms, and ensure reliable, scalable solutions that support sales, finance, inventory, and customer operations.

This is both a technical and people leadership role. You will be responsible for setting team goals and OKRs, mentoring engineers, managing performance, and partnering closely with business stakeholders to translate company objectives into impactful engineering outcomes.
