<p>Employee will be part of the Deployment Pool and will be required to support deployments to various CONUS/OCONUS locations, as required. This position will require the member to be flexible in the support of assigned deployment/work schedules. Member will coordinate and supervise the work effort of assigned subordinate maintenance personnel in support of the unit s daily RPA maintenance operations. Member will perform and inspect organizational and intermediate level electronic maintenance and modifications on RPA systems and support equipment, as required. Lastly, this position requires an individual that can apply comprehensive technical knowledge to solve complex problems by interpreting Air Force technical orders, manufacturers manuals/instructions or similar documents through the usage of test equipment/instruments to affect repairs.USAF equivalent position is Avionics Technician Journeyman. Essential Responsibilities: Applies comprehensive technical knowledge to solve unusually complex problems that affect operational and maintenance capabilities. Requires a comprehensive understanding of the interrelationships of circuits and associated systems. Exercises independent judgment and leadership in performing assigned tasks in conjunction with designated direction from Production Staff, Avionics Technician Leads, or Avionics/Com Technician III s. Uses common and complex test instruments in the performance of assigned duties. Provides technical and directional leadership guidance to lower-level Avionics Technicians. Provides training to lower-level Avionics Technicians. Maintains, repairs, and installs various types of electronic equipment and related devices. Applies technical knowledge of electronics principles in determining malfunctions and applies skill in restoring equipment operations. Must be able to work without direct supervision. Performs all other duties as assigned and requested.</p><p><strong>Desired Candidate Profile</strong></p><ul><li>Must have High School Diploma, or have completed relevant military and/or vocational technical school curriculum</li><li>Minimum of three years of actual Aircraft Avionics and/or GCS maintenance experience required</li><li>Minimum of one-year actual experience on MQ-9 Aircraft/GCS, as an Avionics Technician</li><li>Must have comprehensive knowledge of basic and complex electronics maintenance and repair</li><li>Must have comprehensive knowledge of RFF systems, components, and accessories</li><li>Must possess comprehensive knowledge of technical publications related to aircraft electronics maintenance</li><li>Must know theory and principles of operation of engines, accessories and components, theory of flight and electronic flight controls, and have a thorough understanding of electrical and electronic principles</li><li>Must be capable of using and reading blueprints, wiring diagrams, and data tables</li><li>Must be eligible to gain and maintain one of the following IAT Level II certifications: CCNA Security, CySA+, GICSP, Security+ CE, SSCP, or GSEC, IAW DOD 8570.01-M commensurate with the assigned duties within 90 days of hire or after the second deployment</li><li>Must be able to inspect and operate ground support and auxiliary equipment</li><li>Must achieve a passing grade in all required courses/certifications for continued employment, as needed</li><li>Employee must meet all OCONUS deployment criteria, to include pre-deployment medical screening, as a condition of employment</li><li>Must be able to Deploy to Forward Locations (other countries) as Directed by the Government</li><li>Must be able to lift, carry and/or wear Military Issued Equipment in excess of 50 pounds for extended periods</li><li>Must be able to speak, read, write, and understand English</li><li>Must have had an Active Secret US Government Clearance within the last 12 months. Requires a minimum of 3-5 years experience in supervisory or managerial positions in Telecommunications O&M teams. Experience with a customer service-oriented company. Working Environment The work environment will be 95% indoors and 5% outdoors The outdoor work environment may exceed temperatures 100 degrees F. Candidate must be able to physically withstand extreme heat. Physical requirements Must be capable of lifting, pushing, and pulling items weighing up to 50 lbs. <br>RESPONSIBILITIES<br>Program Implementation (60%)<br>• Youth and workforce development grants<br>• Coordinate with Program instructors and trainers on required reporting, attendance, materials, and milestone documents<br>• Perform administrative tasks such as certificate printing, service and material procurements and data collection for programs she/he is in charge of<br>• Lead on preparing statistical and narrative reports about all program or training activities and results or programs she/he is in charge of, for the review of the SM (And regional staff as appropriate)<br>• Assist in developing budgets and proposals as requested by the SM<br>• Participate in budget re-alignment exercises integrating developments of projects, as needed<br>• Assist in the development and expansion of relevant language and skills development programs, based on departmental and organizational plans focusing on public courses<br>• Prepare contract requests in coordination r for all trainers on programs under her/his responsibility<br>• Coordinate with other departmental staff, finance and HR on trainer assignments, contracts, payments, and schedules<br>• Conduct background checks on prospective trainers<br>• Procure transportation for Amideast trainers to off-site programs via Amideast standard operating procedures (SOPs)<br>• Conduct periodic quality assurance (QA) visits to program sites, recommending actions to line management, if any<br>• Schedule placement tests for students/participants and record, and document results with teachers, archives and for students<br>• Maintain accurate and up to date filing and records in compliance with program requirements<br>• For courses, where Amideast incurs material development expenses to trainers, approve and review all developed materials with the SM and/or relevant staff, and archives them into the SharePoint and updates the library of materials/courses that are developed at Amideast<br>QA, MEAL, and Reporting (20%)<br>• Analyze the post-training assessments and surveys and provide summaries to the English Language & Institutional Development Programs Manage for reporting<br>• Participate in documenting progress of programs, classes, and student learning outcomes for the purposes of end-of-year organization reporting and for donor reporting<br>• Propose new improvements to the delivery of classes, communication channels and developing new customer bases tailored for youth and workforce development programs<br>• Contribute to the programs progress reporting, monitoring, and final reports in compliance with donors requirements<br>Developing Amideast s Offerings and Business (30%)<br>• Follow up on calls and inquiries and respond to customer requests or deliver requests to the relevant department or position for the fee-for-service young learners' summer and winter camp programs<br>• Ensure direct outreach emails to school administrators, teachers and parents are shared and respond to enquiries and collect interest forms<br>• Update the database of school staff and parents for future communications and marketing efforts for the T&P department<br>• Achieve 20 enrollments or more for each young learner program<br>• Propose and lead on data collection to allow Amideast to launch new thematic young learner programs integrating past and existing capabilities including, but not limited to: STEM, journalism and media, entrepreneurship and innovation<br>• Launch and monitor the performance of teachers for young leaners programs in the summer and winter vacations, collect data and administer surveys and follow-up engagement activities with enrolled students<br>• Take insights and lessons learned from program implementation, challenges, and successful customer attraction channels<br>• Produce a recommendation report to management to enhance:<br>• Addressing the changing needs of youth programs deduced from implementation successes and challenges<br>• Media, communication, and outreach channels<br>• New partnerships explored for young learner programs<br>• Use insights to summarize recommendations for improvements<br>• Support business development efforts of the SM through market mapping to summarize youth grants and funding opportunities suitable for Amideast<br>• Support in concept note drafting for youth grants<br>Others (General)<br>• Communicate
