Job context

Palestine
Since 7 October 2023, the situation in the occupied Palestinian territory (oPt) has deteriorated sharply. Access to lifesaving services—already limited by repeated conflict, political instability, and economic hardship—has further declined. In the Gaza Strip, between 7 October 2023 and 1 January 2025, the Gaza Health Ministry reported at least 70,663 Palestinians killed and 171,139 injured as a result of ongoing hostilities, including casualties recorded after the ceasefire that came into effect on 11 October 2025.

In a complex and volatile environment that is difficult to navigate and operate in, Handicap International focuses on its added value in the fields of health, armed violence reduction, education and humanitarian logistics.
