<section><p class="heading jdMain">Job Description</p><p class="heading">Roles & Responsibilities</p><div class="paragraph"><p>Working with the Client Services team, they will be responsible for introducing our digital worker engagement programs to suppliers (both virtually and on site when possible), getting management buy-in, training management on the platform usage, engaging with workers and promoting participation, managing grievance cases, and liaising between all stakeholders to achieve positive outcomes for all. <p >Médecins Sans Frontières is running a reconstructive surgery program in Amman, which opened in 2006, is giving access to reconstructive surgery (orthopedic, plastic, and maxillo-facial) to war-wounded people providing comprehensive health care, MSF aims at identifying and referring patients from neighboring countries (Iraq, Yemen, Syria, and other countries with conflicts) then ensuring their medical follow-up after discharge.</p>
<p >Médecins Sans Frontières Reconstructive Surgery program and the Country Office in Amman are seeking a <strong>(1) Social Worker for a Full-Time contract.</strong></p>
<p><strong>Dimension of post</strong></p>
<p>Reconstructive Surgery Hospital with an average of 520 admissions per year, over 1000 surgeries annually, 50 surgical beds and 69 rehabilitation beds, 2 OTs for orthopedic, maxillo-facial and plastic reconstructive surgeries, OPD with an average 550 consultations / month, physiotherapy and psychosocial department, and Antimicrobial Resistance activity (Stewardship, IPC and Micro laboratory) within the hospital.</p>
<h3>SCOPE OF RESPONSIBILITIES</h3>
<p>Carry out all activities aimed at addressing individuals’ social critical needs (related to assistance and/or protection), promoting their overall well-being and autonomy through social support, and strengthening com-munity-based social interventions (depending on the scope of the social work component in the project). These activities should consider the social determinants of health to ensure a holistic approach to people’s needs and to uphold the well-being, safety, agency and dignity of MSF patients.</p>
<h3>ACCOUNTABILITIES</h3>
<ul>
<li>Conduct social assessments of service users’ situation to identify vulnerabilities and social critical needs including legal, protection, shelter/housing, financial/vocational, food security, and access to other critical services beyond the project scope.</li>
<li>Support the provision of holistic care to service users, by actively coordinating with the other members of the MSF multidisciplinary team (especially medical and MHPSS).</li>
<li>Provide direct social support interventions to service users, facilitate safe referrals to vetted external services/actors to address social critical needs identified during assessment (assistance and protection), and ensure tailored follow up.</li>
<li>Under the supervision of the line manager, contribute to the mapping and regular updating of formal and informal support services (incl. existing community resources). Contribute to assessing quality and safety of existing support services, as well as the identification of gaps.</li>
<li>Flag any changes to vulnerabilities or patterns identified during social assessments to Social Worker Supervisor as well as concerns over the quality or gaps of support services supporting potential advocacy efforts to hospital director.</li>
<li>Participate in the development and adaptation of tools and other material needed for the job.</li>
<li>Collect and record data, statistics and files in a timely manner and according to the data protection policy, MSF ethical guidelines and legal standards.</li>
<li>Under the supervision of the line manager, ensure close collaboration with medical teams, Mental Health and Psychosocial Support (MHPSS), Health Promotion and Community Engagement (HPCE) and Humanitarian Affairs & Advocacy teams to foster a multidisciplinary approach.</li>

<p> <strong>1. Case management:</strong> addressing social critical needs of service users including protection and assistance</p>
<ul>
<li>According to eligibility criteria, receive individuals and assess their situation performing thorough assessments of cases to identify vulnerabilities and social critical needs.</li>
<li>Perform risk assessment for individuals.</li>
<li>Develop an intervention plan together with the person of concern.</li>
<li>According to the project’s intervention criteria and with the person’s consent, provide individuals with direct assistance or referrals according to pre-established safe referral pathways.</li>
<li>In collaboration with the hospital director and social work supervisor, create and maintain safe supportive networks with institutional and external actors for referrals.</li>
<li>Under the supervision of the Social Worker Supervisor, contribute to the definition and the internal dissemination of criteria for detection of individuals with social critical needs.</li>
<li>Ensure follow up of the case and conclude with case closure.</li>
<li>Initiate and/or take active part to multidisciplinary discussions with the relevant medical and mental health care providers.</li>
<li>Enhance two-way communication and patient agency: ensure the active participation of patients in the decision regarding their health and social situation.</li>
<li>Manage complex or sensitive cases under the supervision of the social work supervisor and the hospital director and in collaboration with other relevant staff members involved and contribute to the definition of the best approach to address the individuals’ needs while considering risk and protective factors.</li>

<p><strong>2. Social support (as part of multidisciplinary efforts):</strong></p>

<li>Contribute to the creation of a safe, dignified and confidential care environment within the MSF facility, fostering the promotion of patient’s information, rights and participation, accessibility to feedback and complaints mechanism, in line with Safeguarding efforts.</li>
<li>Actively promote and contribute to overall patient wellbeing while receiving care.</li>
<li>Assess and address patients’ care-taking needs.</li>
<li>Collect comments and feedback from service users, patients and caregivers and address them or escalate them to the relevant manager.</li>

<li>When required, follow up with patients discharged to hotels to monitor their well-being, safety, and living conditions, and ensure their basic needs are met, reporting any concerns to the supervisor.</li>
<li>In coordination with the hospital director and under the guidance of the supervisor, implement and follow up on patient leave procedures, ensuring safety and security considerations for patients and caregivers, and keeping the supervisor informed</li>
<li>Contribute alongside the supervisor to the organization’s representation in stakeholder meetings (UN, NGOs, etc.), supporting networking and maintaining an updated database of humanitarian actors in Jordan.</li>
</ul>
<h3>PROFILE</h3>
<ul>
<li>Bachelor’s degree in social work (BSW) or other relevant degree in Social sciences, Psychology, law.</li>
<li>Two years minimum in a similar social job; (a social worker/case worker/ protection officer), managing complex cases with critical social needs (protection, psychosocial, sexual and gender-based violence, key populations etc.), carrying out community social services or social services in health facilities.</li>
<li>Experience with MSF or other NGOs, desirable.</li>
<li>Demonstrated understanding of and ability to navigate the national/local social wel-fare system.</li>
<li>Fluent in English and Arabic.</li>

<p>The GIZ Jordan Project <strong><em>Protection of Water Dams Through Labour Intensive Activities (C4WW)</em></strong> is seeking to hire a “<strong>Project Officer– Focus: Civil Engineer</strong>” based in Jordan- for full-time base employment.</p>
<p>The project “Protection of Water Dams in Jordan through Labour-intensive Activities (Cash for Work)” tackles two challenges at once: Syrian refugees and vulnerable Jordanians can help protect dams and water resources and receive needed income in return for their efforts. To prevent soil erosion, they construct-check dams out of gabion baskets, create terraces, construct dry-stone walls and plant seedlings.</p>
<p>As a result, the storage capacity of the reservoirs is maintained, safeguarding irrigated agriculture and drinking water in the medium and long term. Additionally, the project entails the establishment of a project support unit in the Ministry of Labour. This ensures a more efficient implementation of BMZ Cash for Work projects in Jordan. Furthermore, standards created for a more efficient implementation of Cash for Work activities are being applied by all relevant partners. By providing short-term employment opportunities, the project is contributing to the improvement of the livelihoods of vulnerable Jordanians and Syrian refugees. It also contributes to fostering peaceful co-existence and reducing conflict potential between the two groups.</p>

The project aims to support and enhance access to health services for vulnerable females in Jordan by enhancing inclusive health services and improving the quality of reproductive health care for women and girls of different ages, with a particular focus on persons with disabilities (PWDs) accessing these services.</p>
<p>This Terms of Reference seeks to engage a qualified service provider to facilitate participatory sessions with PWD to identify physical and procedural barriers faced when utilizing these facilities.</p>

<h1>2.SPECIFICATION OF GOODS OR SERVICES OR WORK REQUIRED</h1>
<p>To conduct a comprehensive accessibility audit of Two designated health centers that will be located in Two locations out of the following three ( Zarqa, Amman, Irbid)Further more facilitate Focus Group Discussions (FGDs) with PWDs to gather qualitative data on their experiences when it comes to reach Health centers ,PWD feedback will be used to utilize upon creating the accessibility Plans, The goal is to produce a prioritized, costed, and regulation-compliant plan to make each health center PWD-friendly.</p>
<p>Furthermore, Oxfam might add one task which is Train Health Workers and Community Leaders on How to deal with PWD with primer focus on SRHR ,the organization is open for those who wish to share training manuals or Topics to be covered based on their Experience.</p>

<h1>3.METHODOLOGY</h1>
<p>The consultant is expected to:</p>

<li>Review the existing Construction Code and relevant national disability/inclusion policies to ensure compliance.</li>
<li>Organize and conduct at least 6Focus Group Discussions in two governorates with PWDs, in addition to KII, aiming to consult with up to 100 persons from PWD and Health Worker. The participants must represent a diverse range of disabilities, including but not limited to:

<li>Physical/Mobility impairments (wheelchair users, crutch users).</li>
<li>Visual impairments.</li>
<li>Hearing impairments.</li>

<p>FGB will be conducted to highlight and understand the limitations, challenges, and risks PWDs face when accessing health centers (e.g., entrance, waiting areas, consultation rooms, bathrooms, and signage).</p>
<p>Conduct FGDs with Health Workers to identify their Training Gaps and Misconceptions</p>

<li>Visit each of the 2-3 health centers provided by the Oxfam to conduct physical inspections.</li>
<li>For each health center, develop a detailed clear accessibility plan (Slandered Requirements, Detailed description, Environmental Risks, Mitigation measure, Building Codes, etc..) that include:</li>

<li>Each recommended item must be explicitly referenced and linked to the specific clause/number of the national construction code/regulation (e.g., "Item: x - Regulation xxxx</li>
<li>The number of units/tools needed per center.</li>
<li>Items detailed specification with Picture of it, Approximate cost per tool and total cost for the enhancement needed for each center.</li>
<li>A summary table ranking the required modifications across all centers based on urgency, cost, and impact.</li>

The electrician will support the operation of the refinery through properly maintaining refinery electrical systems. This allows for safe, compliant, and reliable refinery operation to support the refinery’s strategic business goals.</p>
<h4>Job duties</h4>

<h4>Position overview</h4>
<p>The St. Paul Park Refinery has a full-time opening for an electrician who reports to the electrical foreman. The schedule for this position will be a 4-10 schedule Monday through Thursday, including some weekends and holidays. Occasionally, extra hours may be required. The electrician will support the operation of the refinery through properly maintaining refinery electrical systems. This allows for safe, compliant, and reliable refinery operation to support the refinery’s strategic business goals.</p>
<h4>Job duties</h4>
<ul>
<li>Use various tools and equipment to effectively troubleshoot, repair, install, and commission electrical systems including motor circuits, low and medium voltage switchgear and motor control centers, battery systems, UPS systems, motor operated valves, microprocessor-based protective relays, low and medium voltage power transformers, variable frequency drives, electric heat tracing control systems, electrical raceways, industrial lighting, and complex control systems.</li>
<li>Perform work per applicable standards and specifications (Marathon, industry, or manufacturer).</li>
<li>Execute preventative maintenance activities as part of the Mechanical Integrity Program.</li>
<li>Use and understand electrical one-line drawings, electrical schematics, and operate electrical testing equipment.</li>
<li>Properly execute lock out/tag out procedures, work permitting, and other standard industrial safety processes.</li>
<li>Adhere to and understand Marathon’s electrical safe work practices.</li>
<li>Rack in and out electrical circuit breakers.</li>
<li>Maintain required safety and development training per site plan.</li>
<li>Understand when electrical personal protective equipment (PPE) is necessary and don appropriate PPE when required.</li>

<h4>Required qualifications</h4>

<li>High school diploma or GED required.</li>
<li>Minnesota master or journey worker electrician license is required.</li>
<li>Minimum of 3 years of trade or relevant work experience required.</li>
<li>Ability to learn complex refinery-related material.</li>
<li>Valid driver’s license is required.</li>
<li>Transportation Worker Identification Card (TWIC) is required upon hire.</li>
<li>This position is on a 4-day, 10-hour (day shift) work schedule that runs Monday through Thursday and will require some work on weekends, nights, and holidays.</li>
<li>Successful candidates must be fit to perform the essential functions of the job and adhere to a strict drug and alcohol policy.</li>
<li>Applicants will be required to pass a pre-employment written test, hands-on test, and physical examination.</li>
<li>Familiarity with refinery equipment codes and standards.</li>
<li>Excellent written and verbal communication skills.</li>
<li>Must be able to wear appropriate PPE in the refinery and be able to physically perform all tasks in the field. This may include but is not limited to working indoors, such as maintenance shops, outdoors in open areas, process units, at heights, and confined spaces with or without respiratory protection and limited mobility.</li>

<p>This role has a starting rate of $54.91 while in training. The maximum rate for the position is $56.89 with demonstrated qualification and proficiency after being hired. Annual increases are scheduled.</p>
