We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Haulage Operations Engineer to join our team. The ideal candidate will have 2 to 5 years of experience in haulage operations management and a strong background in engineering principles related to transportation and logistics.
Responsibilities:
- Oversee the day-to-day operations of haulage fleets, ensuring efficient and timely delivery of goods while maintaining safety standards.
- Develop and implement strategies to optimize haulage routes, reduce transportation costs, and improve overall efficiency.
- Conduct regular performance evaluations of haulage equipment and recommend maintenance or upgrades as needed.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams including logistics, procurement, and fleet maintenance to streamline operations and resolve issues.
- Stay updated on industry trends and best practices in haulage operations, and implement innovative solutions to enhance productivity and sustainability.
- Provide leadership and mentorship to junior members of the operations team.
Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering, or a related field.2 to 5 years of experience in haulage operations management, preferably in the transportation or logistics industry.Strong analytical skills with the ability to interpret data and make data-driven decisions.Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively with diverse teams.Proficiency in transportation management software and Microsoft Office Suite.Knowledge of regulatory requirements and safety standards related to haulage operations.Demonstrated leadership abilities and a proactive approach to problem-solving.
