Pastry Chef Job Description and requirements:
- We are the first of its kind donut and drinks café, we offer a new type of donut and drinks
- products that are currently not available in Amman.
- As a Pastry Chef, you are responsible for following the current recipes and perfecting them for consumer consumption as well as taking the initiative to experiment with new flavors and create new menu items.
- The ideal candidate must show a willingness to learn, have a great work ethic, good communication skills, competence in the kitchen, and must be able to both follow directions and efficiently communicate directions to staff.
- Inspect and prep all materials needed to create the products
- Ensure a well maintained and hygienic kitchen and equipment
- Comply with the standard guides to food safety regulation with regards to handling and sanitation
- Coordinate with team to ensure efficient operation and production
- Conduct staff training on the production and completion of products
- Food preparation according to approved recipes by upper management
- Create new products that are in line with our business model
- Must have at least 2 years of experience working in a commercial kitchen or bakery
- Experience baking various products like cookies, donuts, and cakes
- Eagerness to learn
- A degree in culinary arts is preferred but not required
