The assignment is to be implemented by an Electric vehicle maintenance trainer supervised by the project manager in Aqaba governorate. The Electric vehicle maintenance Trainer will be tasked with delivering training programs customized to meet the specific needs of the trainees. The trainer will also collaborate with other technical trainers to ensure that the training program adheres to industry standards and meets the evolving needs of the learners in a dynamic and rapidly changing job market.
Responsibilities
The Electric vehicle maintenance trainer will provide support to the project team to achieve the following objectives.
1. Assess in the development and delivery of a comprehensive electric vehicle maintenance training curriculum.
2. Utilize a variety of teaching methods and technologies to engage and motivate students, including lectures, hands-on labs, interactive activities, and simulations.
3. Evaluate student performance regularly and provide constructive feedback, support, and guidance to ensure student success and achievement.
4. Monitor and maintain a safe, organized, and clean learning environment, including ensuring compliance with safety standards, regulations, and policies.
5. Maintain accurate and up-to-date records of trainee progress and communicate this information to center staff as needed, in order to ensure that the training program is meeting its objectives and to identify any necessary adjustments or improvements
6. Maintain current knowledge of industry trends and advancements in welding technology by conducting research, attending professional development workshops and conferences, and collaborating with industry professionals.
7. Provide mentorship and support to students, including advising on career pathways and post-graduation opportunities.
8. Maintain and manage equipment and materials used in the program, including inventory, maintenance, and repairs.
9. Participate in program evaluation and assessment activities, including analyzing program outcomes, identifying areas for improvement, and implementing strategies to enhance program effectiveness and impact.
Qualifications
The Perfect candidate has to fulfill the following criteria:
● Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience in electrical/mechanical engineering or related field.
l Minimum of 5 years relevant professional experience in teaching electric vehicle maintenance and repair, Vocational training experience.
● Experience with similar assignments.
● Able to take a collaborative approach as he\ she will work closely with project staff, partner staff, and other stakeholders throughout this assignment.
● Excellent communication and reports writing skills.
● Holds a ToT (Training of trainers) certificate.
● Excellent interpersonal and communication abilities
● Extensive knowledge of electric vehicle systems, including battery management, power electronics, electric motors, charging infrastructure, and related software and diagnostic tools.
● understanding of the systems and initiatives for vocational education and training.
● Fluency in English language, including strong reading, writing, and speaking skills, is a must for this position.
● Passion for teaching and a commitment to helping students achieve their goals.
● The Candidate must be residing in Aqaba-Jordan.
Place of the assignment
The assignment will be carried out at the Aqaba governorate.
Time frame
This is a full-time position with a contract duration of 12 months.
