Job Title: Referral Finance Officer FSR  # 561

Location: Amman

Job Summary

We are looking for a strong, qualified candidate to join our finance department to support the finance officers in IMC Jordan, mainly for preparing vouchers, processing cash/Bank payment, in accordance with our policies and procedures, follow up with the monthly scanning with our HQ and any other duties will be assigned to them.

Main Tasks and Responsibilities 

  • Receive payment requests from the affiliated hospital’s medical claims department upon approval.
  • Verify the accuracy of payment requests processed by the medical claims department.
  • Conduct random verification of patient files, treatment process and provided claims.
  • Ensure that donor approval has been obtained for related claims.
  • Process monthly payments for affiliated hospitals upon final approval.
  • Assist in the end-of-month closing process by ensuring timely preparation of all procedures, including intercompany entries, accruals, monthly allocations, pool account clearance, monthly amortization, etc.
  • Ensure completion of procurement and logistics backups necessary for finance records.
  • Prepare accounts receivable (AR) and accounts Payable (AP) analysis and follow up on outstanding balances.
  • Obtain financial clearance from the affiliated hospitals on a monthly basis.
  • Serve as a liaison point with affiliated hospital finance department to ensure proper financial tracking and resolution of any invoicing issue.
  • Maintain all the accounting entries related to the referral hub and affiliated hospitals’ financial transactions.
  • Facilitate regular communication with the referral to provide support and report any financial matters.
  • Promote and adhere to IMC code of conduct, anti-fraud, anti-corruption, compliance/Ethics and other IMC’s policies and culture.
  • Perform other duties as assigned by the supervisor.

Qualifications 

  • BA in Accounting or any related field.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication in English.
  • 2-3 years of experience in a similar role.
  • 1 NGOs experience is a must.
