Human Resources Officer

 

CONTEXT

Médecins Sans Frontières is a private, non-profit international humanitarian organization dedicated to providing medical assistance to populations in crisis, without discrimination and regardless of race, religion, creed, or political affiliation. Médecins Sans Frontières is running a reconstructive surgery program in Amman, which opened in 2006, giving access to reconstructive surgery (orthopedic, plastic, and maxilla-facial) to war-wounded people and providing comprehensive health care. MSF aims at identifying and referring patients from neighboring countries (Iraq, Yemen, Syria, and other countries with conflicts) and then ensuring their medical follow-up after discharge.

Médecins Sans Frontières Reconstructive Surgery Hospital in Amman is therefore recruiting a (1) Human Resources Officer.

 

 

SCOPE OF RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Contributes to the management of movements of the national and international employees in close collaboration with the country office
  • Is responsible for the management of employee files, ensuring proper coding into the HR software (Homere) and filing of HR documents; follows up on Homere audits and recommendations from the HR Manager and Homere referent.
  • Under the supervision of the HR Manager, is responsible for entering the monthly variable into Homere.
  • Performs secretarial work to facilitate HR management
  • Under the supervision of the HR Manager, ensure all administrative information is available to the staff (posting, meeting, website, etc.)
  • Supports Learning and Development Specialists in preparing for training upon request.

 

 

PROFILE

  • Desirable: related diploma, in HR or administration.
  • Essential: Previous working experience of at least two years in relevant jobs.
  • Essential: Written and verbal fluency in English and Arabic.
  • Essential: Computer literacy (word, excel, internet)
  • Highly Desirable: Experience in MSF or other INGOs in Jordan or experience in Hospital settings
  • Highly Desirable: Homere user experience
  • Demonstrates multicultural flexibility.

 

 

WORK LOCATION:    Amman - Al Mowasah hospital - Northern Marka

CONTRACT:                Full-time contract, duration for (6) months renewable.

Desired start date:    July 2024
