What you'll be doing - Expert in IFRS 16 and IAS 16 requirements - Have experience in managing a small team - Ensure completeness of lease contracts in the leasing software - Ensure all rent payments are made on time as per agreement - Prepare IFRS 16 monthly, quarterly and annual schedules/reporting ensuring accuracy and completeness of data in a timely manner. - Ensure ROUs, LLs and amortisations are as per requirements of IFRS 16 - Ensure all property plant and equipment are timely and accurately recorded and depreciated. - Ensure there are no balances in CWIP for completed projects - Ensure fixed assets schedules are prepared on a monthly basis matching with GL balances - Coordinate with auditors to provide requirements related to IFRS 16 and fixed assets. Attend to queries and resolution on time - To ensure regular meetings with the team to listen their concerns/issues if any. Also to give your feedback to the team - Identity potential automations and process improvements to make the process more efficient - To set up a monthly meeting with the business to get their feedback and to resolve pending issues - Manage team's annual leave plan in such a way that it doesn't impact day to day operations - Ensure compliance with all applicable laws like VAT and customs - Review all reports and KPIs/SLAs with finance manager on a monthly basis by 15 th of every month
