Car Rental Agent

.The job of the Rental Agent is to assist customers in choosing a suitable car that meets their need in addition to following up on all aspects from the renting process to the delivery process as per the company policy.


    Rental Agent Responsibilities:

  • Implementing the company’s policies when determining the customers need to rent a car.
  • Providing all options that suit the customers need.
  • Helping customers choose a vehicle that meets their needs, based on factors such as price, size and number of seats
  • Preparing all the required papers and documents as the policy followed by the company.
  • Maintaining and updating rental agreement files such as contracts and cars to be submitted on time.
  • Providing assistance to customers, such as a guide to the Kingdom’s roads and maps.
  • Explaining insurance coverage, including deductible requirements and optional coverage available for an additional fee
  • Following-up on rental limit indicators with customers to ensure a complete and adequate understanding of any additional expenses added to the customer’s bill
  • Making sure that the rented cars are returned on time according the agreed contract and making sure that all terms of the rental contract is applied accurately
  • Determining all additional agreements on the customer when the vehicle is returned if there is a violation in the contract.
  • Preparing the daily reports and required schedules including (keys and cars) in coordination with the branch manager or direct manager.
  • Ensure and follow-up on financial matters such as the cash collected or financial trusts during working hours, and ensure that the money is stored in a safe place before delivering it accurately to the employee in the period that follows.
  • Checking the returned vehicles for Mileage; any mechanical or body faults.
  • Making sure that all vehicles are clean, and ready in terms of fuel, maintenance, and general safety before delivering it to the customer.
  • Performing any task as requested by the direct manager that serves the interest of the work


     Rental Agent Requirements:

  • Bachelor’s Degree in Business Administration or any related field.
  • Proven (1-2) years of experience in the same field of work; fresh graduates are welcome to apply.
  • High level of written and spoken English.
  • Excellent customer service skills.
  • Excellent communication skills.
  • Excellent time-management skills.
  • Ability to handle work pressure.
  • Problem-solving skills
  • Ability to work as a team.
  • The ability to deal with customer issues and enquiries in a professional manner.
  • Valid driver’s license with clean driving record.
