A leading Industrial company specialized in furniture & wood manufacturing is seeking to hire Procurement Manager:

Responsibilities:

• Oversee procurement operations, sourcing high-quality materials and equipment.
• Negotiate favorable terms and prices with suppliers to maximize value for the company.
• Maintain strong vendor relationships, ensuring reliable and timely deliveries.
• Collaborate with project and estimation managers to forecast material needs and plan accordingly.
• Enhance the current purchasing system to improve vendor relationships, reduce business costs, and expedite order turnaround times.

Requirements:

• Bachelor’s degree in Engineering (Industrial / Architectural / Civil) or business administration, Supply Chain, or related field. 4 - 8 years of experience with at least 3 years in a similar role as a Purchasing Manager within the Manufacturing Industry.
• Experience in purchasing in Wooden Industry is highly preferred.
• Professional certification in Purchasing & Supply will be an added advantage.
• A knack for negotiating.
• Analytical thinker who can work independently with minimal oversight, and the ability to make evidence-based decisions.
• A focused and cost-conscious mindset is crucial consistently verifying to secure the best product deals and being willing to initiate returns when necessary.
